SOMETHING NEW - "Take Me Home" (Phil Collins Cover)
Added 2019-10-01 03:17:49 +0000 UTCA few months ago I was asked to do a solo set with my friend Ben Rosenbach's band Our Alarm Clock for their album release show. I didn't have very much time to practice, so I wound up doing some acoustic versions of Tea Club material and some covers.
I got it into my head that I would end the show by covering my favorite solo Phil Collins song, "Take Me Home", but I kept putting off learning it. I actually wound up learning it a few hours before this performance, so this was my first time playing it (thus the lyrics sheet)! This is the only song that was recorded from the show as far as I know. The recording quality isn't great and my guitar is a little out of tune which is driving me NUTS, but I wanted to share it with you Beloved Patrons! We promised to share something from the archive AND something new at least once a month, and it was technically still September when I posted this!
