Speed Demon - MJ

Oooook. A nice and easy Michael Jackson synth bass lift from patron FCBarrett. What could possibly go wrong?

*hits the chorus*

...

I did my best here, friends! The chorus is not meant for human hands, but I got close enough I think to at least approximate what it should be like. Had to slow it down to 90% to get in the ballpark, so apologies for that. Also the tune is right in between A and Bb so I down-tuned it to A.

One of MJ's slightly less popular tunes and I don't think I've seen that much live footage of it (wonder why), but it's a damn cool one and 100% deserves its spot on the "Bad" album.

Enjoy, all!

Thanks Benny. So the app that’s perfect for amateurs like me to learn a song is at goplayalong.com. I can load a .gp file with synced audio from either the original or my sponsored creators which I prefer for the bass boost. I can then follow the tab AND real lnotation, loop it slow down etc etc.a PDF isn’t dynamic like that and is of course uneditable unless you have Adobe. Guitar pro is cheap by comparison if I want to edit or make my own GOPLAYALONG is the best of both worlds. It’s a really great experience and super good for learning to sight read. You have tons of content I love but pdfs are very nineties. Thanks for your curiosity and love your work.

Hey Bryan, Thanks for the suggestion. Definitely appreciate the insight. I wasn't aware that people were upset at un-editable PDFs or were looking for more - first I'm hearing of it. I know about Guitar Pro and am not really a fan of how the charts look in youtube vs how mine are, which is why I've stayed with my way, but of course I want to give everyone who supports me the best experience possible as well and am definitely open to change/improvement. Can you give me some examples of the ways that you'd be looking to to use these PDFs beyond just printing/reading them? You mentioned utilizing them in apps. Mind sharing any examples? Sibelius has a bunch of export options as well like musicXML etc, but I've been wary of offering my charts this way as it'll incentivize people to sign up for one week, download all my stuff in an editable way, leave, remove all "BennyTheBassman" content stamps and just claim all my work as their own. I know that's not most people but if I offer content that way, the potential is definitely there. Within the framework of protecting my work though, I'm definitely accepting any/all insights and suggestions, and appreciate it! Thanks!

You’d get a Lot more Patrons if you used Guitar Pro instead of an uneditable PDF that no apps can utilize. All the top creators use GP. Cheers
