The Infamous SpacePort

I actually made a 3D model of the port in blender, angled it the correct way, then sketched the 2D print on the right (the left was just a sketch I did by eye and isn't correctly to scale like the full one is)
It was a challenge getting the facets on the dome correct in the full version, as well as all the little layering lines. I had the idea for the ring being invisible in the center before I did it and I just love the effect it gives
I put so much work into EVERY detail of Faraway, every single element is considered and weighed and measured. The fact that I spent over an hour making the 3D model alone, then all the adjusting, layering and THEN drawing just to make the above frame that is seen for maybe 3 seconds?
If that doesn't show the absolute passion I feel for Faraway, I don't know what does
