Deck and SB guide, effective 12/4/2022
Added 2022-12-03 23:40:01 +0000 UTCHi everyone, got something special for you this month! With BRO out and the Pioneer format largely behind me, I have been able to jam a ton of experiments alongside my testing partners to help narrow in on what I feel are an optimal list (the list I would play in an event) and something a bit spicier (the Intent list). While both lists are good, the resiliency provided by the UW list is where you want to be in the current meta. Additionally, Haywire mite gives you answers to format staples.
Here are some key cards that Haywire mite has answered for me:
Urza's Saga, Kaldra, Leyline Binding, Chalice of the Void, Blood Moon, Spreading Seas, EE, and even Food Token targeted by Shape Anew
Of course, make sure to adjust your mid-match decisions based on the specifics of any list you face and use this as a guideline, rather than a hard and fast rule!

Deck Configuration Notes:
-0 Relics/GY hate - Still very happy with this.
-2 Lavinia/1 Drannith - Not only is she still excellent against Cascade and 4C Elementals, but with her stopping Leyline Binding, she continues to be one of your best tools. I have split with Drannith because Drannith does a good job hating on cascade while also fighting against Underworld Breach.
-No "Fair" Equipment - Recently I have been less impressed by the Nettlecyst/Chip slots, especially since people have been playing more haywire mites/boseijus.
-3 Drum vs. 2 Drum/1 Mantle: Diabolic Intent strongly rewards you for being able to tap a creature immediately and sac it regardless of summoning sickness. Additionally, being able to tutor up a Mantle vs. Blood Moon in order to generate green mana for mite can be very useful in the right spots.
-2 Sanctifier: With the piles of RB decks running around, Sanctifier has overperformed.
-Hushbringer: 4C elemental decks still exist (though in much smaller numbers), tribal decks have been on a notable upswing (merfolk, and to a lesser extent, goblins). Hushbringer is an absolute beating against all of the above, and can do solid work slowing down Yawgmoth. ***The Intent list requires fewer copies since you can simply tutor it up vs the decks that it really shines against.
-Why the switch from BW to Esper Diabolic Hammer? It's pretty simple, honestly. The access to Spell Pierce is such a big advantage in the combo, mirror, and control matchups that it is worth keeping in the SB. Once you've added blue back to the deck, putting the extra Lavinias back in is a no-brainer.
