Thanks to your amazing support, we have been able to slowly upgrade and improve the quality of our streaming studio since I took over Happy Jacks in April. A lot of upgrade possibilities opened up with the layout of our new space, and we have been able to improve things as we learned too.
Now, we have taken things to the next level. I am trying out an editor for the Advice show who will take out all the extra ums and fillers and big gaps and other issues. This will drastically improve the quality of the listening experience, as well as take one thing off my plate each week. I am hoping this will result in a more regular weekly release schedule with episodes dropping every Tuesday, rather than whenever I get around to it in the window of a week or two. This should also improve the experience for all of you.
Don't worry! The editor is under strict directions not to make us sound too good. ;) There will still be the fun banter, bad jokes, interruptions, side stories and more that are an inextricable part of who we are at Happy Jacks. Check out our most recent episode, S31E11, to hear the first episode the editor cleaned up for us.
As always, thank you for the incredible support that has made this possible. It's a huge relief for me and has the potential to really increase our appeal to a wider audience.
