Animation Completed

The real action starts before the performance. The sweaty sticky action...

This was meant to be a quick 1 day animation. I think it turned into a 2-3 day instead. I like how it came out despite the simplicity in certain spots so I'm fine with it taking a bit longer than planned.

I'm gonna get to the monthly and push aside another animation I was doing in the meantime. The monthly will be Christmas themed so I want it to be ready for the holiday. I want to alteast make a little intro for it as well.

Adjustments and Faces

So, I actually planned and implemented a little part where Zoey (girl in back) gained "heart eyes" that pulsed over her eyes. In my opinion is was a bit too goofy and didn't match the rest of the animation so I took it out and just did a "normal" face. Speaking of faces in general although I haven't seen the movie I am aware that the goofiness and faces is sort of part of it's identity so I did try to get some noticeable expressions. I like how the pink girl's faces turned out on this one.

White stuff/Climax

I went pretty basic on the 'goop' on this one. I've always found the flowing liquids to look not the best so I've been looking of ways to improve or move away from it. I wasn't able to do it here but I'm looking into using bezier curves for manual control of strands that I would have move a bit before landing on it's surface for a more realistic amount of 'white stuff'. So in order to experiment with this, I'll need to try it out in some animations.
