I hope you all are having a great holiday weekend!

This week I'm learning what it's like to have a 4mm kidney stone, but I've been mostly pain free this week so I'm in good spirits.

This was a weird but fun little clip I made quite a while back. I was trying out some muscle twitching and hair growth. A couple of you have seen it, but I figured I'd share it.

I think I've gotten much better at those techniques since then, so there may be a little more detail in an upcoming video if I can ever settle on a project 😒. I've been studying anatomy including some ZBrush tutorials that delve into it, which are especially helpful.

Focusing a bit on skin appearance lately, and making hands and feet at the level of realism I want, since mine have been quite terrible. A couple of samples directly from ZBrush:

Someday I might actually be an artist, who knows.

There are still challenges to my overall workflow, but the things I used to find difficult are now the easy parts, mostly. The nicest reward from practicing comes whenever I notice I can do it faster and easier.
