My Ape TF, IRL

Thanks to those who replied to my last post and reached out with so much kindness. The problem with my neck has been clearing up, about 70% gone. There is still some sort of general inflammation so I will continue to take aspirin and be careful.

I had some good luck too. Last week I became an "ape" and bought 30 call options in AMC. I sold them on Wednesday during the short squeeze. For you traders, I bought the June 18 $20 and $35 calls and swapped them for June 4 $65 then $72 during the climb, then sold. It was a monster payoff.

I've been feeding Vince tendies for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

At the moment it would feel wrong to ask for Patreon subscriptions to justify work, unless there was enough interest to that I could do it full time. I'd like this to be more than a hobby. I don't know exactly how I will proceed, but this will continue as a way to follow me and communicate with me.

I've had fans suggest putting up my own site, and I might do that regardless. I already directly host the videos and images I post, linking to them rather than uploading them to a service like Vimeo or YouTube. Patreon doesn't properly handle this, which is why I have to put links in the text (and they don't respond to my support requests). A natural progression would be to house my work in a web site and refer to it on my videos.

Anyway, I'm just thinking out loud. I will still be taking some time to heal.

I appreciate you all so much!

Paul

No worries. I agree; I started with ibuprofen, then as it's improved I've down to maybe 1-2 aspirin. I should have started dealing with it sooner.

Hey man sorry to hear about your neck and hope you feel better soon. If you can tolerate ibuprofen I would take 3 or 4 of those, in my experience it works way better than aspirin.

Thank you! One thing I have been doing is trying to secure a couple more GPUs for rendering, because that is a major factor in producing animations versus stills. Having some money opens that up, but I don't want to support scalpers. This chip shortage is something else. I had luck in April, but those methods are not working now.

Looking forward to more of your work, glad for your improved health and finances! Good luck moving forward!
