people (and by “people” I mean a specific brand of Disaffected Millennial) always downplay the quality/prevalence of protest music in the modern era compared to Ye Olde Days, but that’s always blown my mind; there’s a lot of even mainstream-alternative stuff very pointedly critiquing Actual Things In Society, let alone more fringe/marginalized alt stuff as you say! thank you for this Jer, “a they of impeccable taste” :) (btw sorry if you know this already, but for me the Tidal playlist shows it’s created by [null], idk if your profile there is 100%)
