進捗報告のようなもの/Something like progress reports

一か月ぶりの進捗報告となってしまいました。申し訳ございません。

It has been a month since my last progress report. I apologize for the delay.

この一か月、本当に忙しくしていました。

もっとも、忙しさを言い訳にしてはいけないので、制作が滞らないようにしていました。

This past month has been incredibly busy.

Still, I didn't let busyness become an excuse, making sure my work didn't fall behind.

ですがそれがたたったのか、もしくは寒暖差なのかはわかりませんが、

ここしばらく体調を崩していました。

今は少し落ち着いたのですが、遅れを取り戻すべくまた忙しくしています。

But whether it was that or the temperature swings, I'm not sure,

I've been feeling under the weather for a while now.

Things have calmed down a bit now, but I'm busy again trying to catch up.

BOOTHやFANZAの作品にも取り掛かりたいのですが、なかなか時間が割けずにいます。

I'd like to start working on projects for BOOTH and FANZA, but I just can't seem to find the time.

皆様も、体調には本当にお気をつけください。身体が資本、本当にそのとおりです。

今回のTop絵は、２年前のナミさんです。

現行モデルになってからナミが非常に作りやすくなったのですが、この２年前の衣装がここ最近やっと安定するようになりました。

This time's featured artwork is Nami from two years ago.

Since switching to the current model, Nami has become much easier to create, but this outfit from two years ago has only recently become stable.

ONEPIECEキャラ、特にナミを作る上でもっとも難しいのが"目"だという話は、これまでずっとお話ししていたとおりです。

これを安定させるのが本当に難しいです。

原作もアニメも、目が真ん丸ですからね。これに引っ張られないようにするのはなかなか骨が折れます。

As I've mentioned before, the most challenging part of drawing ONE PIECE characters, especially Nami, is the eyes.

Getting them consistent is really tough.

Both the manga and anime feature perfectly round eyes. Resisting the urge to draw them that way is quite a struggle.

２年前のナミは、今月中旬から下旬に公開予定です。

こちらもぜひお楽しみに！

Nami from two years ago is scheduled for release from mid- to late this month.

１０月作品人気投票の結果は、このようになりました！

The results of the October work popularity vote are as follows!

１位から３位まで、ナミが独占する結果になりました。

これは私も予想外でした！

Nami swept the top three spots.

This was unexpected even for me!

ナミ&海兵がトップかと思いきや、踊り子ナミが予想外の１位。

私も踊り子ナミはなかなかお気に入りの出来だったので、嬉しい誤算でした。

もちろん、ナミ&海兵もお気に入りですけどね！

I thought Nami & the Marines would be at the top, but Dancer Nami unexpectedly took first place.

I was quite fond of Dancer Nami myself, so this was a pleasant surprise.

Of course, Nami & the Marines are still favorites too!

正直に言うと、踊り子衣装が原作再現でないこともあり、あまり人気が出ないだろうと思っていました。

理由はやっぱり目です。アニメの影響が非常に強い学習データだったため、諦めざるをえませんでした。

To be honest, I didn't think the dancer costume would be very popular since it wasn't faithful to the original design.

The reason was definitely the eyes. The training data was heavily influenced by the anime, so I had no choice but to give up.

９月作品の上位３作品にナミが選ばれなかった反面、今回はナミが独占した１０月になりました。

来月はどうなるのか、今から楽しみです。

While Nami didn't make it into the top three works for September, this time around, October was all Nami.

I'm already looking forward to seeing what happens next month.

１１月も良い出来の作品をご用意しておりますので（現在鋭意制作中）、お楽しみに！

先月のナミ&海兵あたりから、このようなツーショット作品を作ったり作らなかったりしています。

Since last month's Nami & Marines piece, I've been creating these two-shot works on and off.

初めに断っておきます。本当に難しいです…！

これも、かなりの数を出力してようやく生まれた１枚です。

First things first: this is really difficult...!

This one, too, is the result of outputting a considerable number before it finally came to life.

大体はこんな感じです。

服装が指定できなかったり、特に目が同じになったり表情も一緒だったり他にもいろいろと…とにかくツーショットは安定しなくて困っています。

It's mostly like this.

I can't specify clothing, their eyes end up identical, their expressions are the same, and there are other issues too... Anyway, the two-shots just aren't stable, and it's a real pain.

先ほどの作品と比べると、ナミの目が明らかに違いますよね。

入れ墨もビビの方に入っています。これでも、非常にうまくいった方です。

Compared to the previous piece, Nami's eyes are clearly different, right?

The tattoo is also on Vivi's side. Even so, this one turned out quite well.

そのため、以前公開したナミ&ボア・ハンコックがなぜあんなにうまくできたのか。

私自身、本当にわけがわからないくらいです。

That's why I still can't figure out why the Nami & Boa Hancock stamps I released earlier turned out so well.

Honestly, I have absolutely no idea.

ONEPIECE系でなければそれなりに…と思いきや、これもやはりかなりの枚数を作ったうえでやっと生まれたものです。

I thought it would be manageable if it wasn't a ONE PIECE-style project... but even this one required creating a considerable number of pieces before it finally came together.

なぜこのようなことをお話ししているのかと言いますと、

ツーショット作品をリクエストしたい！というお声をいただくからです。

The reason I'm telling you this is because

I've been receiving requests for two-shot works!

ツーショットできるじゃない！リクエストしたい！

そうお考えになるのは、本当にそのとおりです。よくわかります。

You can take a two-shot! I want to request one!

That's exactly how you feel, and I completely understand.

ですが、申し訳ございません。今の段階ではお断りさせていただくほかありません…。

私が納得できる出来になるまで本当に時間がかかるうえ、ポージングやシチュエーションも狙ったものがなかなかできないのです。

そもそも、ツーショットが可能なキャラクターもメジャーなものに限られていますし。

However, I'm truly sorry. At this stage, I have no choice but to decline...

It takes an incredibly long time to achieve results I'm satisfied with, and I often struggle to capture the poses and situations I envision.

Moreover, the characters available for two-shots are limited to major ones to begin with.

一方で、皆様のご支援にお応えすべく、リクエストの拡充を図りたいと考えているのも事実です。

（件数を増やすと私が過労で倒れてしまうので、質を上げる、という意味でですが…！）

On the other hand, it is also true that we aim to expand our offerings in response to your requests.

(Increasing the number of cases would lead to me collapsing from overwork, so I mean improving the quality instead…!)

なにかいいアイデアはないかと考えているのですが、なかなか思いつかずにいます。

I've been trying to come up with a good idea, but I just can't seem to think of anything.
