Koala cookie batch & machine tension "fun"

I only worked a half day today because my mom is visiting this weekend and i needed to clean the house 🧹
I made a batch of the standard koala cookie design, and spent a lot of time fiddling with the tension on my machine. I realized yesterday while doing the embroidery for today's tutorial post that the tension on my machine was REALLY messed up. The bobbin thread was showing on top and the upper thread tension had to be lowered significantly to counteract it. I don't normally have to do this, nor do i want to.
My new machine had to have its needle clamp repaired because it got stripped in about 4 months of owning it, so needles could not be inserted into it anymore. And whatever they did really screwed up my tension so i had to sit and fiddle with the bobbin case, which is all the tests i did on the purple fabric 😬 but i think i got it back to normal at least!

2023-05-06 09:19:36 +0000 UTCUgh tension. I learned a lot of how ass that is when I was learning to use my glitter thread because it's really delicate. It also snaps easily because its flat and if it twists at all it'll snap. It was really satisfying once I figured it out.
