Happy pokemon day! Post office run, updated Hopen guide & sad QC on pins

hi all, happy pokemon day!

today i dropped off all the breakfast orders at the post office! it wasnt as hard carrying everything in 1 go since there weren't any boxes this time 💪😤

i also finally got my hands on a full mochi swatch set from hopen textiles! i'm not sure why mine was missing many colors originally - i bought it shortly after they switched mochi suppliers, and i know of at least one other person who bought theirs around this time who was also missing colors. anyhow, thanks to my friend chibipets i was able to get an updated swatch set and update the hopen color guide, which is accessible to all patrons here!

finally i ended the day taking photos of all the flawed peepitto pins, since the manu wanted photo proof of each flawed pin 😩 doing quality control is always really sad when i get a bad batch because it's just so heart breaking. i was testing out a backup manu for these pins and well - all the yellows are flawed because they didnt apply enough paint, and a ton of all the colors have the faces scratched. i'm not sure if they rushed these due to the long lunar new year holiday (even though i ordered back in mid-december!) or what - needless to say they failed the test miserably 😂 such a simple pin design too! i don't know what's going to happen with the yellows. i'd like remakes, because yellow is THE most important color for peeps, but i dont know what the manu is going to say - and moreso, i dont know if they will be able to do a good job remaking them.

tomorrow i'll be starting work back up on the dorayakitties for march's pattern reward!
