UWTBK-Ch-32 Strategy and Conquest

With closed eyes, Emiko focused on the mark of Phantasm tiger while sitting in her room. Within a few seconds, the tiger materialized in front of her. Upon seeing it, she spoke, "I have urgent news for Master Karan. Please let him know that I need to speak with him."

After a few minutes of waiting, the phantasm tiger nodded and vanished. Suddenly, the scene shifted from where Emiko was standing to a grand hall with a throne at its center. Seated upon the throne was Uchiha Karan. As soon as Emiko saw him, she knelt down and spoke,

"I have a situation that I must report to you." Emiko then proceeded to provide Karan with all the information she had gathered about Sunagakure. Karan listened attentively and replied, "Do not fret. When the time comes, use the coin I gave you, and I will be there to handle the situation myself. As for Sunagakure, they will pay for their treachery against me. Although I planned to wait two more years before attacking the major villages, it appears that our plans must change."

After getting confirmation from Karan, Emiko left the dreams space created by phantasm tiger.

Karan opened his eyes in the Daimyo mansion of the river country. Without delay, he gazed into space and ordered, "Summon Aiko and Nakamura. I need to meet them both right away."

A voice responded with a simple "Yes," but there was no accompanying figure to be seen.

After a few minutes of waiting, Aiko and Nakamura arrived. They both knelt down on one knee and greeted Karan.

Karan nodded in acknowledgement and continued, "I have called you here for an urgent matter that requires your attention. Emiko has just returned from Sunagakure and has reported some concerning news. I need your expertise and opinions on this."

"Please rise and take your seats," Karan instructed politely, gesturing towards the empty chairs in front of him.

Both Aiko and Nakamura rose from their kneeling position and took their seats opposite Karan, their expressions serious and attentive. Karan then proceeded to relay Emiko's account of the troubling events that took place in Sunagakure.

As they listened, Aiko's and Nakamura's faces grew increasingly infuriated. The audacity of Sunagakure's actions was outrageous, and they were both ready to take action against them.

After Karan had finished speaking, he looked at them expectantly. "Now tell me, what are your thoughts on this matter?"

"Master Karan," Nakamura spoke up with a determined voice, "I propose that we take immediate action by heading to Sunagakure and completely eradicating it."

Aiko, sitting beside Nakamura, nodded in agreement. "Yes, they must pay for what they've done. This cannot go unpunished."

Karan leaned back in his seat, considering their proposal. He knew that Aiko and Nakamura were his most trusted advisors, and their suggestion carried weight. However, he also knew that such a drastic move would have severe consequences and required careful planning.

"I understand your anger, but we cannot simply destroy the entire Sunagakure for the conspiracy of Rasa," Uchiha Karan responded calmly. "My ultimate goal is to rule the entire Ninja world, but if there are no people left to govern, then what is the point?"

Aiko and Nakamura exchanged a glance, realizing the wisdom in Karan's words. They had been fueled by their emotions and the desire for revenge, but they had not considered the long-term consequences of their actions.

"You are right, Master Karan," Aiko said with a nod. "We must think about the bigger picture and consider all our options before making any decisions."

Nakamura also agreed, "Yes, we cannot let our anger blind us. We must be strategic and calculate our moves carefully."

"Alright," Karan said, nodding at his advisors. "Here is the plan: the two of you will lead a thousand soldiers and launch an attack on the Wind Country. Your objective will be to capture every city and its ruling ministers. If they surrender, spare their lives and let them continue ruling. However, if they resist, eliminate them and appoint someone else to take control."

Karan then turned to Aiko and continued, "Aiko, with your Mangekyo eye ability, it will be easy for you to control the newly appointed rulers. You will ensure their obedience to us."

Aiko nodded in agreement, her expression determined. "Understood, Master Karan. I will use my powers to make sure they remain loyal to us."

Nakamura also nodded in agreement. "We will make sure that Wind Country is brought under our control and that their resources and army become ours."

"Excellent," Karan said, pleased with their cooperation. "Remember, we must be cautious and avoid unnecessary bloodshed. We do not want to cause more problems than we solve. Make sure that you are discreet and act swiftly. I have faith in your abilities."

"Aside from the soldiers, I will also send the Shadow Guards to accompany you both," Karan added. "Their primary task will be to protect the soldiers and the medical team that will follow you."

Suddenly, a Shadow Guard materialized in front of Karan and spoke up, "But Lord Karan, our duty is to protect you. It would be better if we follow you to Sunagakure."

Karan shook his head, "No need. You all know my current strength and it is unnecessary for you to follow me to Sunagakure. Your priority is to protect the soldiers and medical team."

"Understood, Master Karan," the Shadow Guard replied before disappearing.

Karan then turned to Aiko and Nakamura. "Go and talk to Uzumaki Kaori about the medical Ninja team and tell her to be ready. A battle is coming, and we need to be prepared for any injuries or casualties."

Aiko and Nakamura nodded in agreement before departing to carry out their tasks. Karan watched them go, his mind focused on the upcoming battle and the obstacles that lay ahead.

Aiko made her way to the hospital to meet Uzumaki Kaori.

"Hi Kaori, how are you doing?" Aiko greeted Kaori with a smile.

"I'm doing fine, thank you. And you?" Kaori replied with a smile.

"I'm doing well, thanks for asking. By the way, where's your daughter? I don't see her around," Aiko asked.

"She's playing with some other kids. And why do you ask?" Kaori inquired.

Aiko's expression turned serious as she replied, "Master Karan has ordered an attack on the Wind Country. I came to ask you how many medical ninjas you have trained who can be deployed on the battlefield."

Kaori's face also turned serious as she responded, "At the moment, we only have a hundred medical ninjas who can be deployed on the battlefield."

Aiko's expression hardened as she contemplated the number. "We'll need to make do with what we have. Can you make sure they're prepared and ready to leave as soon as possible?"

"Of course," Kaori nodded, her own expression showing the gravity of the situation.

With that, Aiko bid farewell to Kaori and made her way to the training grounds where every soldier will gather.
