Ch-15 Sunagakure Missing-Nins
Added 2023-04-01 14:56:12 +0000 UTCAfter a long day of searching for spies and discussing matters with the Daimyo, Uchiha Karan was preparing to leave when the Daimyo asked him a question.
"What are we going to do about Sunagakure's matter?" asked the Daimyo.
Uchiha Karan paused and turned back towards the Daimyo. "No need to worry too much about it," he said confidently. "They will do nothing as they know my strength. They know that only a Kage-level powerhouse can deal with me, and it's impossible for neither the Hokage nor the Kazekage to attack me, as they will never leave their village until necessary."
The Daimyo seemed to consider Karan's words for a moment before nodding in agreement. "I see," he said. "That makes sense."
"Okay, I will be leaving for the Grass Village tomorrow morning," Karan replied before turning and walking away. As he walked towards his room, he couldn't help but feel relieved that the matter had been resolved so easily.
......
The night passed in silence for Uchiha Karan.
As morning arrived, Karan woke up and gave some instructions to the children before setting out on his journey to the Grass Village. He had a specific purpose for this trip - to recruit someone.
"Take care of yourselves while I'm gone," he told the children. "I'll be back soon."
Karan recalled that Uzumaki Karin was born around this time, which meant that her mother should still be alive and have around six to seven years left to live. Karin's mother had died when Karin was only six or seven years old. Karan believed that if he could bring both the mother and daughter back, they could be trained to become some of the best medical ninjas.
"Medical ninjas are an essential part of any ninja team," Karan said to himself as he journeyed towards the Grass Village. "With the right training, the Uzumaki family could be invaluable to form a good medical team."
Having trained in medical ninjutsu himself and gained knowledge about the human body from Konoha hospital, Karan knew the potential of skilled medical ninja. He set out on his journey with a sense of purpose, determined to bring back the Uzumaki family and help them unlock their full potential.
After traveling for half a day, Karan decided to take a rest in the city that had come into view. As he entered the city, he saw a bustling place that was unsurprising considering the country's fertile land and the abundance of fish and other creatures in its rivers.
He entered an inn to eat and gather any news that he could. Sitting down at a table, he ordered a simple meal and began listening to the conversations around him.
"Have you heard that the Daimyo is recruiting soldiers?" said person 1.
"Yeah, I heard about it too, but aren't the recruits around 12 years old?" said person 2.
"Who cares about age? Haven't you heard that they'll get a salary of 5,000 ryo every month during their training period, and after the training is finished, the minimum salary will be 30,000 ryo?" said person 3.
"Yeah, I heard from a ninja that the basic salary the children are getting is what they'd normally receive for completing a D-level mission," said person 1.
Listening to their conversation, Karan realized that the Daimyo must have sent news to every city the previous night and made the announcement in the morning. He was impressed with the Daimyo's efficiency.
"Well, that's one way to get soldiers," Karan muttered to himself before finishing his meal and setting off on the remainder of his journey.
As Karan continued on his journey towards the Grass village, he took a moment to review the scroll containing information about the missing nins. The scroll indicated that missing nins from Sunagakure had been sighted around the mountain range he was passing through, and Karan was curious to see if they were still in the area.
He decided to keep an eye out for any suspicious activity and keep his guard up in case he encountered them. Karan had learned from experience that it was always better to be prepared for any unexpected situations.
As he traveled deeper into the mountain range, he stayed alert, keeping his senses sharp for any signs of the missing nins. Despite his vigilance, however, he did not encounter them, and after a while, he decided to continue on his journey to the Grass village.
But just as Karan wanted to continue his journey he suddenly sensed three people moving in his direction so he decided to wait for them to approach and see who these people are? When these people arrived he could see these people are from Sunagakure it can be concluded from their ninja forehead protector but their was a cut on symbol of Sunagakure. So this can be concluded that these ninja's are missing nins from the Sunagakure.
"Boy what are you doing here in the middle of the forest and it seems you are waiting for us?"said a middle aged ninja most probably leader of this team.
As Karan prepared to resume his journey, he detected three individuals approaching him. He chose to pause and observe them to determine their identity. As they drew nearer, he recognized that they were from the village of Sunagakure, as evidenced by their ninja headbands. However, their headbands had a cut through the Sunagakure symbol, indicating that they were missing-ninjas.
The leader of the group, a middle-aged ninja, inquired, "What are you doing here in the forest, young man? It appears that you were waiting for us."
Karan responded, "I was just passing through the forest on my way to the next town. I noticed you coming and decided to wait to see who you were."
Uchiha Karan noticed the rebels' attire and in a playful tone asked, "So you guys are rebels from Sunagakure, what brings you to the country of the river?"
One of the rebels snapped back, "Mind your own business, brat."
Another rebel suggested killing Karan to avoid complications during their mission, wiping his neck in a gesture of impatience.
Karan overheard their conversation and became puzzled, "Wait a minute, aren't they missing-ninjas from Sunagakure?"
The Jonin leader gave the order to kill Karan quickly.
The rebel who spoke cruelly to Karan said, "Don't blame me for your bad luck, kid. I'll give you a quick and painless death." Despite his sympathetic tone, any experienced ninja could see the hidden excitement in his eyes.
Karan observed the approaching rebel and estimated him to be an elite Chunin. "You're mistaken if you think you can take me down that easily," Karan retorted.
The rebel lunged forward, but Karan moved with lightning speed and beheaded him with a swift stroke. The Jonin was shocked and covered in cold sweat.
Karan demanded an explanation, "What mission are you talking about? You're already missing-ninjas from your own village!"
