Ohh helloo!! How are you!? Happy Wednesday! SO excited to check in and share all of the things I've been up to! Let's do it!

Above, you'll find a few pics of some of the ✨new✨ prints that will be added to my first shop drop of the year! I am working as quickly as possible to have it done for you ASAP! (one day, I'll have a printer I don't have to manually feed one piece of paper at a time haha 😅) A bunch of oldies are getting restocked too as well as some new AND old stickers!

(I'm so sorry that the photos are a little oddly tinted yellowy? It's literally snowing AND thunderstorming currently and the sky is the strangest color? lol)

The official release date is still TBD, but I'll let everyone know as soon as my site is fully finished!! 💓

THE RESULT!! Again, totally not perfect, and not super detailed or anything, but goodness, I loove the texture of lino! I'd looove to get little tote bags or shirts or tea towels and stamp them with a bunch of different characters and decals and things!

Now, of course, if you've been keeping track, I've worked through quite a big stack of my backlog of sketches, SO.. I had to do some more!

I spent a bit of time browsing through old reference photos I've taken-

and have always wanted to do something quirky and simple and cute with these trees!!

OKAY, so this one is a VERY rough sketch, but hear me out! Does anyone remember that scene from Alice in Wonderland during the very sad oyster scene where the sun/moon are lighting up the beach(?) and the scene is half night/half day? That visual has been on my mind basically my entire life, so I thought I'd finally do something inspired by it?? If that makes sense! (hopefully at least one of you know what scene I'm talking about so I'm not just speaking into the void hehehe)

just a feely little animation idea- very small and soft and things!

Okay, okay, I think that's just about all I have for you today! I'm off to finish printing. BIG POST: Exploring the World of ✨Linocut Printing✨

Hiii! Happy Friday! It feels like it's been Wednesday every day this week, so I am so pleased for the weekend to have finally arrived! I hope you all had lovely, lovely weeks as well!

I have a bit of a different big post for you today! I took this past week to experiment, ordered a few things to test out some linocut printing, SO let's just jump right into all the things!

Of course, I had to start by sketching/putting together some ideas for some prints I'd like to start with!

Once some of my supplies arrived, I couldn't help but give it a tiny triaI run! Nothing too serious!

 (plz ignore how icky this looks lol I started carving at like 10pm hehehe)

I love the whoooole feel of this, big time! For a first little test, with the little bits of things I had around, I'm super pleased! I just need better ink, for starters and ALSO! Something to more consistently press the images! ALSO ALSO, different paper too! My paper was far too dusty! ALL that aside, I cannot WAIT to explore this further!

Some more little ideas-

 (I pulled from some old designs to sort of visualize what I could do with the way I draw/my little characters etc!)

Once I'm? Goood-er? Am I dreaming too big? It'll all need to be simplified quite a bit, but I'm dreaming big here! Don't mind me!

I am always getting asked to make clothes and things, and I just think it would be so fun to thrift clothes and bits and print on them!? Maybe? I am always such a fan when I see fellow artists sharing their homemade, printed apparel, so we will see!

DRAGON!!! (I'm absolutely making him a big sticker before I explore a big printed version, but!)

My first big goal is to make a cute sun/moon print pair from the above sketches. I am super inspired by the juxtaposition between my usual works/color palettes and the simpler block prints. Something about it! I've always loved it!

If you're into this, I'll definitely share as this progresses. Once all of my supplies arrive, I will have something a bit more "legit" going, but for now! Just wanted to share the beginning stage!

Next! I wanted to share that I have lots and lots cooking behind the scenes with this wizard buddy!!

I have been putting SO many hours into this. It's fully animated. I also plan to have little zooms into the different moving parts, and I'm hoping to finish it up over the weekend! Woo!

BIG POST: SKETCH DUMP!!! hehe

Hello, everyone! Happy Thursday! How are you?! I hope you're all having a great week.

I've been sketching for the past 10 days straight as I've been struggling a little bit to get back into the swing of things. I alluded in my previous post to my having to navigate some stinky life things, and to keep it brief, our vet discovered a birth defect that landed us at the emergency vet with Mr. Mushroom until 3am one evening, so to put it lightly, I've been a bit of an emotional wreck. Mushroom is OKAY! SO INCREDIBLY GRATEFUL 💜 BUT! It's been a rough couple of weeks getting used to new routines and things.

Well, onto art things, eh? Above, I thought I'd share what it looks like when I sit down and think of ideas. I make lots and lots and LOTS of lists lol

SO, from said list, I sketched some things!

First up! COWS!!! I'm not sure what will become of this, if anything. There will be a lot of that in these sketches, just my throwing ideas at the wall and seeing what sticks, as they say!

Then, I randomly decided that it was time to make a profile pic that I actually "vibed" with, so!

I did it!

From there, I began revisiting old works, as is the routine at this point ha. I have always felt a weird connection to this comic, so I wanted to rework it a bit. I also played around with the idea of using this little caricature of myself to do a periodic comic of sorts (think the mushroom comics?) THOUGH...

Now that it's finished? I like the sketch SO much better lol! The final render is so.. stiff and it's lost all the softness that I loved about the original sketch. I wanted to stick to the color palette of the original, but I think it is all a bit too crunchy and needs some more work!

This is a becoming a consistent hurdle for me. I discard so many works because I have such a difficult time capturing the feeling I connect so closely to in my sketches. Hmm..

Should we look at some wizard stuff? Yeah, we should.

This little series is both inspiring me AND intimidating me! I want so much to feel confident drawing dragons and mythical things, but it feels just far enough out of my element to make me feel a bit inadequate! I shall persevere!

I think I really gotta animate that kitchen, though. My partner suggested having the eggs bouncing in the carton in the background and I instantly felt big inspired haha!

OKay, I just had to pause for a minute to sketch Mr. Mushroom. He's been so snuggled this week! (reference photo below hehehe)

This is another one where I was like?? Is this.. good? Something? Weird? Meh? Idk, but here are some rabbits that will likely be lost to the void!

This is a tiny ode to an OOOOLD work I had made before I was really posting to the internet, but I have really been enjoying this woodsy, nighttime feel, so of course, the sun and moon had to join in!

BIG POST: Finished Bug Band, WIPs, Sketches, COWS! 🐄

AHH!! Hello! Happy Friday! I hope you're staying warm and cozy and smiling wherever you are today!

First things first!

Above, you'll find my finished BUG BAND illustration! I put WAAy too many hours into this one, but I was just so excited about it and couldn't help but adjust and shift colors and adjust and, well...

200 versions later ... yeaaahhh.. I ended up adding some ✨chromatic arberration✨ oooh, and that ended up being just what it needed to finish it up!

OH! I finished this pink whale too hehehe

Then... I started sketching... just a couple as, as we know, I have quite a backlog to work through-

My cousin, who is also an artist as I think I've mentioned, suggested these two be dancing to the Bug Band on the radio on a blanket in the spring time, so! Here's the sketch of just that! Can it be spring yet!?

Another sketch-

I am still trying to figure out exactly how I want to do my little set of fantasy illustrations, but I had an idea to incorporate Thyme and Basil since they fit right in! Plus, I haven't done an animation of them yet, so I thought I could play around with this sketch above, maybe! Hm..

If you have any ideas/thoughts as to things you'd like to see Thyme and Basil get up to next, let me know! I have a little list of ideas, but would love to add more as they're such a fun pair to draw-

• brewing potions (cheesy-ish?)

• making breakfast/coffee

• cooking/board games for fellow wizard friends?

• riding bike? lol

• gardening!

A tiny side note: my partner found these cow pictures from late summer that he had taken the other day, and? These buddies need to be drawn, right?

The next thing on the agenda is VALENTINES! Now, I am only this far-

..but I am still ahead of schedule! Haha! I am hoping to get a lot of the line work for these done over the weekend, so I will keep you posted 💜

🌼FIRST BIG POST OF THE YEEEAAAR: Sketches Galore, OF COURSE!🌼

Hello, hello, friends!! I know I already said it once, but again, happy new year! I hope your first week of 2025 has been sweet to you!

My first week was spent planning all of the projects I'm going to try to tackle this month, so, as the title of this post suggests, I had to do some BIG sketching!

Because of popular demand, I had to create a little wizard part TWO- though, do we like the daytime or nighttime color palette better? Vote below, if you'd like!

ThEn? Well, I had to sketch a wee whale-

I just want to make a BIG whale sticker, I think? That's as deep as this one gets! Shine, sparkle, patches, stars! All the things!

Okay, so this is a bit of a rework of an OOOOLD, old drawing from years ago, but I am totally in my "fantasy, sparkle, whimsy" feels this month, so I'm definitely going to rework it into something more like this!

I spent a long time this weekend scrolling through nature-y photos I had taken throughout the year, and ended up sketching this very simple scene. Though, while I drew a few different things, I couldn't figure out what should be happening here. Maybe it'll simply remain a sketch, or maybe I'll figure out the perfect way to use it? Hmm..

Speaking of nature-y photos! You MAY or may not remember the photo dump I posted in Juuuly?? I think?? Lots of flowers and things from my parent's garden- I finally got back to those photos and sketched THIS-

and I don't know, but SOMETHING ABOUT THESE COLORS!! They make me want to drop everything I'm doing to create!! I'm not sure about the bugs playing instruments- I might change that aspect of the composition, but!!

And, now, I haven't forgotten about these sketches! 

I am constantly coming back to them as they are on my active "to-draw" list, but... well, my ideas for them are shifting,, and I'd love to combine a whole bunch of ideas to make one, GIANT whimsical work. I'll keep you posted!

BIG POST: New Animation + I'm STUCK lol + Hi!

Why, hello! How are you all doing? Staying warm? I hope so! ⛄️

Now, I must warn you- I've been absolutely, utterly, beyond STUCK. SO, instead of pretending I wasn't and that I have spent the last week vibing with everything I've made, I'm going to bring you on the little journey I went on this week! (a very dramatized version haha!)

SO... remember those ice skating frogs I was so excited about? Well, that's where I started my doodling adventure last week...

And, well, I've been drawing frogs the same way for years, but... I have been feeling quite inclined to give them more of a vintage-y feel- think Cuphead! SO, after completing these, I gave them a revamp!

Can you tell the difference? Maybe? Well, feeling decently satisfied in the direction they were headed, I decided to embark on the ever-daunting task of drawing.. the setting!

Normally, by this point, I'm feeling like I'm in a groove! I almost can't WAIT to color and finish bringing the idea to life, but,, this time,, 30 HOURS LATER, noooo, I was this emoji 🫠 !! BUT, I continued pushing through,, and spent another four hours coloring...

Only for it to look like this? No,, absolutely not. Something is just not working. Alas, I scrapped it,, for now! But, I felt WARMED UP (lol quite an intense warm up that was!) and very determined, so I got to work on the above video! We're coming back to that video now haha-

Feeling rather,, worried that I'd suddenly lost the ability to draw (hehe jk), I hesitantly started drawing these bears, bears that meant a lot to me, that I wanted to make super special-

and, to my surprise, I loved 'em! Hooray, the excitement to color had returned, but!! I knew that I wanted to make this an animation of sorts and had the idea of drawing their little home in the woods, so next was tackling that- something else I despise- drawing BuiLDiNgS... but..

Something happened!

It turned out as I'd hoped! We were getting somewhere 🥹 I added a bit of color, a bit of a blurred filter and there it was! The finished video you see above! (I'd add it in here to keep things chronological, but I'm unable to add video mid-Patreon post, so just pretend it's right here, okay? 🥲)

And, well, that brings us to the final endeavor I completed late last night,,, the ice skating frogs!

Having given it quite a few days, I decided to come back to work on them. AND!!! AHH!! FINALLY!! I don't know what changed, but I just loved the funky vibe of them upon revisiting!!! Will I return to the giant drawing of them? Maybe, maybe not, but the sticker version? Done!! 😎

Oh, and I fully finished Mr. Moose too, in case you missed him-

Okay, well, that's kind of the entire journey, I guess! I'm so sorry it isn't the most exciting of stories, but I've felt so much stress this week trying to make things worth sharing with you, so I thought I'd simply share my big week of trials and errors! Thanks for coming along- I'm feeling very, very inspired now, so I'm about to dive head first into more makes, and I can't wait to share those with you ☺️

December Wallpapers 🫎🧶❄️

A (really) BIG Sketchbook DUMP🧙‍♂️☁️✨

Why, hello! Happy Wednesday! I have doodled all sorts of doodlies this week during my little order-packing lunch breaks, SO! I just had to stop by and drop those here for you! I'M SO EXCITED ABOUT SOME OF THEM (lol)~!!

Where to begin! Hmmm.. Well, let's start with where I started, I guess!

Things were beginning... kind of blandly.. the same old, same old- animals, patches, socks, funky hats! BUT, I was super focused on trying to connect with making some wintery art as I've hardly made anything snow-related over these past 5 years! ANd, once the moose was drawn, I was in a groove!

I had the words "ICE SKATING FROGSS!!!" pop into my brain, and I just went for it! (I'm SOO stinkin' excited to draw these omg) Idk what it is about them, but I just love the vibe and the colors and ahh! Every time I circle back to frogs, I feel so excited to draw and make all over again :)

Now, I know many of you are still waiting for my little, adventurous mushroom project to unfold, so I'm thinking I'm going to finally start dipping my toes into... multiple scene animations woooah. Thus, I thought I might start with something inspired by an important experience I had recently paired with the wintery theme!

Okay, now,, I kiiiinda strayed from winter at this point, oops!

I wanted to circle back to my little wizard (it's me, let's be real lol) playing the flute atop the unicorn drawing and sketch out a bit of a fuller picture...something that might need to be animated hmm...

and,, following the fantasy/whimsical inspiration, I thought I might explore doing a bit of a wizard .. portrait? Hmmm x3!

Finally, I had to go back to my usual for just a moment!!

The sun is kind of meh. I love adding to the sort of continued arc of the geetar sun, but I'm ready to get more creative with the settings, I think. BUT, I started sketching this snail and I fell in love with them! Stargazing! My favorite!

Hello, wonderful friends! Happy Friday! I've got lots of little things to share today, so I'm just going to jump right in!

Above, you'll find my new sun and moon animation! I wanted it to be a bit of a final animation to accompany two I had done early this year. They're together again, taking a moment to breathe in and out, to appreciate nature and things (it's a little deeper than that, but I'll spare you the sappiness hehe).

(It is, in fact, the postcard of the month, btw! Stickers are still being designed as this new sun and moon doodle took much longer than I thought it would, so I'll let ya know what those will be super soon- I definitely want one to be a mountain goat, though 🐐!!)

Let's look at some sketches I put together this week!

?? I don't know where this little guy came from, but he brought me a bit of joy, so I think he's gotta become something? A sticker? Something?

THEN!

I've been wanting to dive into the world of fantasy and softness and castles and dragons and things, so I played around with this little idea! I keep starting illustrations in this realm and then I NEVER finish them, so maybe this will be a new place to start.

I may or may not have gotten a bit lost in this magical space and did a bigger spread of mystical pals-

I'm not exactly sure how, but I might try to combine all of these ideas into one, BIG magical drawing.. hmm, we will see!

 This is going to take.. a big long time, but Alice has been lined! Onto the rabbit 🐇!! (I absolutely cannot wait to spend all day on this! Yes!)

You may have seen the updates if you follow along with other creators on the platform, but Patreon has updated their subscription billing system. (NOTE: This does not affect existing subscribers! It only affects NEW/FUTURE subscribers!!) 

How will these updates affect you/your rewards etc.? 

Generally, nothing about your experience here on Patreon will change. The only slightly noticeable switch will be for members who receive physical rewards. To accommodate this new system, I will, most likely, have to start sending out rewards during the first week of the following month rather than the last week of each month as I've done for many years. For example, I shipped October's rewards during the last week of October. Though, with this new system, November's rewards will be shipped during the first week of December, December's rewards during the first week of January and so on. This will simply shift the day you receive physical rewards by a few days, so it should not by super noticeable, if at all!

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask! I wanted to touch upon this just to address the slight shift in the reward shipment schedule. Other than that, that's all you should notice! Thanks so much for your understanding! 😊

BIG POST: Sketches + Fall Inspiration + Update 🧡

Hello, wonderful friends! How are you all? I hope you've been enjoying the changing leaves and cooler weather. I'm so sad this time of year always feels so abbreviated!

I have lots of little things to share, but first! I just wanted to leave a tiny note apologizing for my absence this past week or two. I've been dealing with some health things and ended up taking a few days off to recover, but I'm feeling great and ready to jump right back in! Thanks so, so much for the kindness while I focused on some self care and catching up 🧡

BUT!! The obvious- above, you'll find a collection of images I took yesterday to get some inspiration flowing, and I thought they might, maybe give some of you a little inspo too to make some FALL ART!! THE BEST ART (in my opinion hehe)!

SO, you guessed it, I had to do some sketching!!

I feel like I've been trying to put together a super fun and very maximalist Alice in Wonderland illustration for so long and I've abandoned most ideas, but I thought I'd try again! Though, looking at the sketch now... I need to add a Cheshire Cat!? How could I have forgotten that? 

A tangent lol- Every time I sketch something out with lots of flowers and mushrooms, I think.. "Is this repetitive and like every other drawing I've done recently OR is it just my 'thing/signature/style'?" I'm hoping it feels more like the latter as I just love drawing these compositions so much hehe!

Moving on!

A couple of weeks ago, I asked on my insta story where everyone might like to see these pals go next, and a lot of requests were for them to snooze by a fire/hammock etc while on their journey! With that in mind, I tried to sketch out how I imagine they probably cuddle up for the night, but I couldn't decide on a background?

In the forest? In the clouds? In a crystal cave? OR, is this a cute drawing all on its own without a setting? Hmmm.. Let me know what you think!

Now, don't worry! I did not forget about my giant backlog of sketches and have been working on this as my sort of final, big, FALL, animation!

I finished the linework for the little house in the woods from my last sketchbook dump, and am now onto the very daunting step- ANIMATING.

I explained in my last big post a little bit, but I'd love to have sun go walking by, and as she walks away, nighttime comes and the moon goes walking by? A BIG LOOP! 

I really wanted to challenge myself with this one, so I'm not giving up! I really dislike drawing structures like big buildings AND struggle with animating walking sequences, so we are putting both together and seeing if I can tackle it!

Now, onto the final bit! Some little things I've gotten in the mail (plz ignore the big glare/my reflection- these goodies are very shiny and it was too beautiful of a day to not take pictures!!) 🤗

First! The new freebie sticker I'm going to be putting into all print shop orders!!

On that note, I finally sat down to redo my envelope decals! I've had the same design on my Patreon/shop envelopes for YEARS, and so!!

Here's the new decal!! Once I'm fully out of the previous design, you'll start seeing your monthly rewards/sticker orders arriving with this little buddy on the envelope! ✉️

BIG POST: Sketchbook Dump + Ghosty Prints Early Access! 👻

Hello, everyone! Happy October! It's officially punkin, ghosty, cat, big leaf time! My favorite! 🎃

I've been spending quite a lot of time exploring the ideas in my brain, so, I thought we were due for a little sketchbook dump, but first!!

Above, you'll find the finished version of a sketch from a couple of weeks ago! I'm having so much fun exploring color palettes and ✨vibes✨ Though, this one took me far longer than it should have. Again, I was stuck coloring and tweaking things for days, but! It is done! (and! the sunshine version is the postcard of the month!!!!!!)

Okay, okay, onto the biggest, fun, fun bits! A SKETCHBOOK DUMP!

I saw a video of a mountain goat recently, and I couldn't stop thinking about it! I just had to draw one!! And, from there, I decided to create a little scene of the sun and moon beneath some mountains where I hope to animate the sun playing tunes, of course!

SOOO, punkins, obviously. I took a lot of inspiration from the pumpkins in Over the Garden Wall as I just rewatched the little series last month! I used to draw lots of pumpkins with funky outfits long ago, so I'm bringing it back!! (BIG stickers of the month!? i think so!!!!)

AND THEN! I thought it would be really fun to make an October version of the grumpy frog illustration, so, of course, I sketched that out.

BUT, from there I had this idea: Imagine a little cabin in the woods, very fall-esque. The sun goes walking by in the background, and as the light shifts to nighttime, the sun leaves the frame and the moon walks in!? Shifting day to night!? I'm weirdly excited about this idea for some reason haha!

BIG POST: HI, HELLO! Little GHOSTIES + sketches! 👻✨

Ahhh hello, friends! SO excited to stop by here to show you what I've been working on!! Where do I even begin?

I've started down this path of exploring the story between the little ghosty and the little cat that appeared in the garden, and I simply can't stop sketching things out!

Above, you'll find a little sketch of the little ghosty and cat (though, I think I might change the composition a little…) having tea on a cool, autumn morning in the garden!!

I may or may not be very inspired by the cute, little chairs I managed to thrift recently hehehe!!

THEN!!

a little sketch inspired by my grandmother's house!!!

and then I found an old, OLD drawing and decided to sketch a new take on it-

(I'm still going through my phase of recreating old doodlies, I think, ope!)

From that sketch came this one.. that I actually managed to JUST finish!

I tried so hard to make the darker background work, but I stumbled upon this sort of dusk palette and couldn't not. Luckily, that allowed me to add some silly text to it, though 😊

I'm super not sure what will come of all of these sketches. I didn't intend to fall so deeply down this little ghosty/little cat rabbit hole, but I just love drawing this little orange cat!

PLEASE let me know which of these sketches appeals to you most/which I should actually finish! I'm going to continue diving into the land of autumn and leaves and punkins and things outside of the little ghosty universe too, but I'm just exploring this pair a tiny bit before I move along since it's still 90 degrees and not exactly super FALL outside yet!

Alright, I'm feeling super motivated and ready to tackle a whole bunch of drawings this week! Yes!

Why, hello! Happy Friday! Happy FALL!!! It's September, so,, it's fall now, it's official (in my brain hehe)!

I've finished packing orders which means I'm a little behind in the doodling department, but I'm back at it in full force, nonetheless!

SO, FIRSTLY, I have been spending a LOT of time taking photos/searching for shapes and things that inspire me out and about, so I thought I'd put together a little package of recent photos I've taken to maybe inspire you as well!

THEN! I have many drawings of the little toad on the mushroom in various illustrations, but I have never done a fully dedicated toad drawing, I don't think?

Patchwork mushrooms?! I am also thinking I might animate it- maybe have little star characters flying through the flame, reminiscent of some of my old drawings? (perhaps, perhaps make it a postcard as well, hmmmm 🤫)

And, to pair with that toad illustration.. some sleepy, celestial doodles (stickers, cough cough!!)!

ALSO, I'm going to come back to this sketch, I am!! I just ran out of time last year haha 😤

BIG POST: Shop Sneak Peek, New Doodles, and SKETCHES (of course lol)🌱

Hello, hello!! I hope you all had a lovely weekend!

Let's get right into all the things? Yes!

Soo, above, you'll find a tiny preview of the prints I will have available in my shop on Wednesday, August 28th (27th for patron pals, as always 😊)

Aside from prints, there will be tons (LOTS AND LOTS OK) of stickers! These two just arrived, so I thought I'd share with you how they came out!!

Okay, okay, ANYWAY, I finished a new drawing this weekend. It's funny, but for some reason I am just so excited and happy about it. You'll have to let me know what you think hehe!

Something about this color palette, just,, ahh! I love warm tones! It was based on this photo I had taken, if you recall-

SO, this weekend, I went out to take some new photos to serve as inspiration, and thought I'd share what I caught in case it can inspire you too!

Nature is so 🥹 (there's swans!!!) I don't think I've smiled so big after taking a photo before!!

I'm still deciding how I'd like to tackle the little mushroom comics, still deciding whether or not to animate them? (Insta is being really weird about animations lately, so I've been staying away, but!)

I checked back in with this drawing again,, still not sure what to do with this one either? Though, seeing it animated is super fun, so hmm.. what do you think?

Now, I revisited a few sketches + drew a new little somethin',, I just love the idea of making little sets of illustrations that all go together!

 (plz ignore that this has the exact same composition as the above little elf illustration, ok? haha)

vintagey/VHS vibe? I'm exploring! Trying! The final colors will probably not be this NEON, but sometimes going a little wild with the colors in the sketching phase helps inspire me? Is that silly? Probably!

..and then I played around with drawing another moth, but this time with a forest-y scene on its wings?! I feel like I have a whole lot of ideas right now, and I really gotta reign them in a bit, if that's not utterly apparent! Ha!

OH! I almost forgot- I also found an old background from long, long ago that I had never used, but I have really wanted to for awhile, so I sketched atop it...

Cute? Not cute? What do we think? Scrap it?

WELL, that's about all I've got for you, I think! I'm almost done printing, so I'm off to finish that up, take product photos, update the website, and prepare the big, end-of-the-summer drop for you!

BIG POST: BIG project (that I'd love your opinions on hehe) + Rewards +New THINGS!

Why, hello!! How's it going!

I've been making all sorts of things, as I shared in my last, tiny, update, but I'm back and ready to share all sorts of things with you!

Based on my last poll, you were asking that I finish the duck illustration + the adventurers adventurin' FIRST! So! I did just that.. Above, you'll find the animated duck comic.. not sure how I feel about it- I was still adjusting to new brushes and things!! And the color palette? IDK!! Ahh! I just had to get that out of system, I guess, but don't worry! I will revisit the ducks again soon and do them WELL! Or, I'll try! 🤞

Randomly, yesterday, I felt compelled to recreate another old work (idk why I'm so drawn to recreating old things lately, but!), and this is what came of that!

I think,, the vintage-y ✨aesthetic✨ I've been talking about to you for years is finally, FINALLY taking over. These are my most favorite colors. I love them. I want to make everything orange-y warm tones ALL THE TIME!

(I may or may not have ordered a glittery sticker version of this for August's shop drop ooh!)

Okay, moving on!

Speaking of vintage-y!

I've been working on the adventurers adventurin' ALLLL week, so I wanted to share little snippets of the progress I made along the way!

I began by making all of the characters-

I've been dearly missing utilizing excessive hatching/cross-hatching!!

While the adventurers are very much Lord of the Rings inspired, I also felt like adding some Alice in Wonderland elements as well! (hehe the rabbit!)

 (this pair is my favorite!)

 ... 14 hours later, the lines were drawn! and 6 hours after that...

AHHH! They're bringing autumn with them on their way! (the self control it took to NOT boost the saturation up 200% haha)

What do we think!! Thoughts? I kind of want to make a big sticker of all of the buddies? or a big sticker sheet!? Hmm..

Okay, quick sidenote- REWARDS!

AHHH! Dandelion pals postcard + Dandelion King stickers! THOUGH, a NOTE! Those ARE the stickers, but they're getting reprinted as they accidentally made like 80% of the sticker glittery and it's hard to read in some lights, so they're getting fixed! Still glittery, just less chaos haha! BUT, I wanted to show you the combo nonetheless because I am SO excited to send out August's rewards!

Now, I've had something on my mind for a little while- some of you may remember the silly list of mushroom poems I shared with you in... 2022?? WELL, I've decided, given that I'm fully immersing myself in exploring all of the ideas I've put on hold, to try to make those mushroom poems into something!?

A series, if you will!? Or, a recurring little comic? Animated? I'm truly at the beginning of brainstorming for this, but here are some of the little ideas-

"I am a little mushroom friend who whistles little tunes.. every day and every night beneath the sun and moon..."

"...and while my whistling is rough... okay, it's really bad. It is my favorite thing to do and makes me really glad."

Okay, please, PLEASE excuse how silly and loose these sketches/poems are, okay!! I've yet to go back and refine!

Another!

 "Sometimes, I look up to the moon and wonder how to gleam... to shine so brightly in the night, to light up every dream..."

"...but while the sparkle of the moon is there for all to see... I hold my magic in my heart, and that's alright with me."

I just want them to be super wholesome, super sweet, vintage-y, of course, wee comics about a tiny mushroom in the woods feeling things, doing things, being! We'll see what/if something comes of these, but I just wanted to share the very beginning of the brainstorm sesh with you 🥹 I just imagine a sort of animated storybook? I don't even know what that would look like!
