This was incredible episode and provided a lot more insight on the lives of the people who would join the severance program.

2025-06-21 10:57:15 +0000 UTCThis show is just so good, isn’t it? This episode paired so nicely with the first episode of the second season in every regard. It’s like a louder echo of the dichotomy of the first and second episode of Season 1, where we started with all the innie questions to Helly R…but then, in episode 2, we saw the outie view of Helly, from the talk with Milchick (planting the answer about Mr. Eagan’s favorite breakfast), to the chip implantion, to the stairwell, and the exit. The scene of our Core 4 (ish) going down to the Severed floor here…someone timed it, and it times perfectly to the scene of the Core 4 arriving on the floor again for the first time together in episode 1. The HUBRIS to build their doors in-house…like the locking doors on MDR. But Jax, you even complimented Lumon on that door early on this episode! But doors….doors can be important. ;)
