We need to talk
Added 2021-06-26 17:38:45 +0000 UTCAs you can see, I haven't done content for Patreon for a long time. There are two reasons for this:
1. Life situation.
I have written more than once that I often have to solve problems in real life, because of which my creativity and drawing suffer. As soon as I start working on a new project, like a health problem, sudden problems, and so on. And due to the fact that I live alone, I must solve all this alone.
2. The limited themes of Patreon.
You know that yourself, Patreon is not very fond of some topics, for example, the theme of the comic about Leia Lek or about Charlie and Sonny. Therefore, most go and projects are simply closed to Patreon due to their blunt rules. For example, a long time ago there is a complete sketch with the idea of April Onil and the small Ninja Turtles, a sketch about 2b and Sonny was trying and waiting in the wings, Lejalek and its continuation were completely forgotten to this day.
And I don’t want to leave this situation the same as it is now, for me it’s just theft, I promised content, and as a result, stagnation for months! This is a real shame for me.
And now I want to ask you, my subscribers. Tell me, just honestly, should I just forget about patreon for a few months, clean up all the problems with orders and IRL problems and then come back with projects?
Or is it worth it just to close Patreon in the month of July, and create an account on another site after clearing out all the cases, so that you can publish free everything that Patreon does not allow?
Any opinion will be important to me, because you are what allows me to live and create, and I do not want to just take money from you for the fact that there is nothing.
Comments
Take the time off, please, if only to set your affairs in order. Things that happen IRL are the most important in this world and we will be waiting. My only humble request is that you do a quick monthly update to let us know you’re still kicking.
