Join us Friday, June 10 at 7pm PST virtually or in-person at @KQED Live in San Francisco for some fantastic films about cunning cuttlefish, nifty nautiluses, superb squid and outstanding octopuses!
Youโll also meet:
๐Josh Cassidy, our very own lead producer and cinematographer for Deep Look. He'll talk about his adventures filming octopuses and squid.
๐Richard Ross, a cephalopod husbandry expert at the California Academy of Sciences. He'll show us his Secret Home Lab, where he has been raising octopuses for more than 10 years.
๐ฆDanna Staaf, science writer and author of many cephalopod books, including Squid Empire: The Rise and Fall of the Cephalopods. She'll share her in-depth research.
