We've just become aware of a character control issue that may impact many of you (hopefully not all).

IF: you swim slower than normal when pointed toward the surface, OR sprint/surge doesn't seem to work at all, then you are being affected by this bug. The bug does not occur on the computers we test on, which is why we didn't notice it till now.

We're going to push this build anyway, since everyone has been waiting for weeks, but just be aware that your experience may be impacted. We'll be working hard on a fix, and will push an updated version out as soon as possible.

EDIT 1: Some users have reported that exiting, restarting, and resuming your save (instead of starting a new game) can fix temporarily fix this.

EDIT 2: Be sure your graphics card drivers are up to date. You will likely be unable to open the project if your drivers are more than a few months old.
