I've decided to start putting updates on progress, projects, and other stuff that's going on with updates here. I'll try to post these often!

One-Shot Dungeon: As of right now there's been 83 people who've gone into the dungeon, and the dungeon has 83 statues permanently residing inside. I think I may have been a little hard on people with it, pun intended. Some specific challenges have been very effective in serving fates to the runners, and only one person has made it close to the end. Regardless, I stand by its challenge, and the feedback has been encouraging! It'll continue until there's 99 attempts in total, so if you have yet to try it and would like to, please reach out to me and we'll make it happen! After these 99 attempts with me present, I'll make the world a place anyone can load up and play solo.

A couple months ago I asked Patrons what they might like to see for a group activity, and Bounty Hunting was chosen. I took to inspiration from a character in the Pokémon anime called "Hunter J" who uses a wrist-mounted cannon that petrifies targets in gold-colored stone and displays them in a case with settings that change how petrified the subject is. This was used to the effect of tasking patrons to hunt willing targets. The "Pokémon Hunter Cannon" is available for everyone to play with in the Petrification folder. The model for the cannon was made by Vivkitty!

A Patron named Chrisso suggested this idea of a remote that could pause people, so we went ahead and made it! I like projects that have a clear vision and could be wrapped up with a day or two of work. This remote can be aimed at someone to timestop them, complete with a look like you paused a VCR, and the individual frozen will see the world frozen in place -- basically a vision filter with 80% opacity and the familiar pause icon plastered in their view, stuck looking at the same thing they saw when they were paused.

It may or may not be your cup of tea, but some folks can enjoy venting with a little destruction, and statues can be satisfying to see destroyed. So there's a few new tools for that -- though it should go without saying that you need to check with your play partners if they're interested in this before trying anything. You can use this hammer and chisel to break of parts of someone petrified, and if you want to finish the job, there's a sledgehammer that will shatter them into rubble. They will, unironically, need a respawn after that.
There was an attempt to make a "Statue Spectator" view. Sometimes petrification can result in an undesirable view, though someone wishes to keep them petrified that way. Being stuck staring at a wall may be something kept in fantasy; it's good to give your living statues something to look at. So this system is designed to grant them a private view to pan around themselves and others. You can try out what's there in the Grey's Works folder, but it is very much a work in progress.
The project voted on by patrons was The Museum! This barely won over the "Statue Spa" idea, and I'll take that into consideration; I'm cooking up some ideas about that, too! But with this museum I'll be preparing the world until the end of the month, and then open its doors to any Patrons who would be interested in an Encounter (1 on 1 session) to be added to my official collection.
For starters I had prepared an "Hourglass of Permanence", as most of us do enjoy a permanent fate. You can find this in Grey's Works at the moment. If the timer runs out, the petrified person will be unable to turn back, and remain a statue forever. This persists as long as the statue exists. Even if they quit the game and come back later, they will resume their decor duty as permanent art. The only way to stop this is to destroy the statue. I'll have this system prepared to work on anyone in my museum if I'm ever present in the world with them, as there's no reason they should ever be anything but my statue when I'm there.
So there's also a neat video I made with RhysFloof! I worked with a talented slutty bat named Azavit to figure out how to actually paint someone in Resonite, and promptly fired up the cement mixer. You can see the full video here! https://x.com/Grey29176449/status/1758147911416738257?s=20
I'll end this oversized post with a personal touch: I've been overjoyed to see Patreon work out as a success for me and my spouse to be stable enough with it! We have ourselves a comfortable source of income through it, and I have the time to achieve all these dreams and goals, I truly couldn't be happier. If the success continues, I may be able to comfortably look at this as my actual employment, and new doors open through that. Thank you to all of you for continuing to support me! ♥
