Early release: Interview with Nikki Fried Fl Gov candidate

I have friends that supported him to the end. They are crushed and still hopeful that he can run again.

Its unfortunate that repub. Simpson will probably be next Ag. Commissioner in FL. He switched Springs legislation to his committee a few years ago and killed much needed amendments to the Springs bill that kept it weak with no real teeth to improve our aquifers and protect our water and even our fisheries.

I am so happy that you had her on. I am a Miamian, like Nikki, and I was impressed with her genuine answers. I have shared this interview and asked my fellow Floridians to just listen and make up their own minds. She has my vote. Let's give a lady a shot. She's been a good Commissioner of Agriculture and I know she will be a good governor.

Sounds like Ms. Fried has not lost her humanity & will govern as an adult unlike the vengeful child we have now. We need her common sense, her dedication to our diverse communities. I think Nikki Fried is our best chance to bring decency back to the governor's seat of Florida. Great interview.

Thank you for doing this interview! Ditto to Stephen’s comment on DeSatan and others taking credit for hard fought money sent to Florida and other states. I’d expand that query to include the current governor redirecting COVID funds to what amounts to a “buy-off” stimulus check. He is indeed an authoritarian despot and hypocritical tyrant. I’m a Michigander with a fantastic female governor, so I’d love to see Ms. Fried join that club. It’s hard to say that folks in other states have no skin in the game in the FL governor’s election when someone like the current governor has such a huge presence and influence. I wish Ms. Fried good fortune and I hope others will give her a good look and then their vote. It’s time for optimism. Thank you for giving us a chance to get to know her! National candidates next!!

This is interesting to see an up-close campaign in Florida. First, as a disclaimer, I am Coloradoan. One thing I am seeing is DeSantis going around taking credit for the infrastructure spending that all state level Republicans are taking credit for even though they all voted against it. Do you think that you can bring this to public attention sucessfully?
