Hey, since you're here ...

Some of y'all already know that I have a donation drive/fundraiser going to help me with moving this coming month. Though, some of you decided to sub to my Patreon and it has me thinking that perhaps I should try my best to set aside some time to continue work on my RPGMaker trash horny game know as ACP or Adventure of Cat Princess.

It hasn't seen much development for awhile, but there is an "almost done" Chia build that just needs some more updated artwork.

I feel it would be nice to fill everyone in on some recent developments regarding ACP:

New Working Title: Dream of Nyghts
There's a not-so-subtle but subtle reference here. I honestly just wanted to call the game something more interesting and making a title card to match will allow me to give it more style and flair.

Protagonist Swap: Chrissy -> Mydnight
Having "Chrissy" as the main character of the game, for me, was just not doing it for me so I made a whole new OC over time.

Graphical Update
The original old versions of the game followed specific image dimensions which were quickly becoming kind of difficult to include a lot of detail in the art assets. Going forward (if I actually start working on DoN) all graphics will be nearly 3x larger than the original sprites.

VX Ace to MV
With some help from a friend we were able to do a test to see if we can shift certain mechanics over to the newer MV engine and much to our surprise it might actually be easier to do at least the basic functions of the game. If not I'll just stick to working with the VX Ace versions.

Does this mean ACP (or DoN) is going to get developed?
It's a bit of a mystery: I'm low-income and currently only make barely enough to cover food and rent. I hope that with the donation drive and potentially getting more eyes on my Patreon I might try to make time for ACP/DoN to at least show some kind of progress. Ideally, if my Patreon were to grow to even just 450/mo that would entirely eliminate the pressure and stress of rent which means more time dedicated to projects and commissions.

Honestly, this is up to whether or not my audience wants to truly see me attempt to make a trashy horny RPGMaker game, lol
