just TERRIBLE concepts

Iva went through the most changes, but Conny started off a bit different as well. Mallory hasn't changed, but I tweaked her TERRIBLE form in the actual comic to something I prefer. Speaking of which, the TERRIBLE forms had the clearest design goals for me! Iva's is meant to look demon-esque, due to her guilt and poor self image. Mallory evokes more angel-ness, since she's so full of herself, haha. Her knife-summoning power is a play on the idea of harsh words being like daggers, since her verbal cruelty is her worst "SIN". And Iva, who's "SIN" is cowardice, can of course run very fast.
There are a lot of young adult stories (comics especially) with a main cast of teenagers. It makes sense; teenagers are the ones reading them, after all. But I followed this pattern for just TERRIBLE because frequently, high school years are some of the most guilt-ridden and difficult in life. For a world in which one's "worst deeds" are encouraged, that age-range was the best for the story to me.
