(There is actually a lot I want to say about the "sambre" romance, but it's all spoilery! Argh!)
Perhaps I'll talk about Partridge instead. She hasn't changed that much from my first idea of her, in personality or in looks. She was always going to be a wealthy newbie to the Talent world, ready to shake things up. TDL and NYSM, while both pretty well-known names in this universe, have not intentionally and actively challenged the government for a while (for reasons that are also spoilery). There needed to be an outside force causing a massive change. Partridge is that force. She's brave, a bit of an idealist, and she has the means to go wild. Her disposition, in my mind, is like an older, more confident Samantha. Both of them are going to shake up the status quo.
