TDL Lore (#1)

Here's the first post. Some definitions to start with!
Talent:
- Someone who develops out-of-the-ordinary abilities following a surge of emotion. Can be accompanied by physical changes, or alterations in hair and eye color. (More commonly referred to as “Talented” in the Talent community.)
- An out-of-the-ordinary ability gained after one feels a surge of emotion. When activated, it’s user’s eyes will glow.
Undiscovered Talent: A Talented who hides their talent from the government, and potentially their friends and family.
Registered Talent: A Talented who’s Talent has been registered by the government. This comes with several restrictions; they must be listed as Talented on all forms of ID, they cannot cross state lines without authorization, and they must have monthly check-ins with the TSA. It is illegal to be an unregistered Talented.
The Talent Underground: The worldwide community of unregistered Talented. Centered around Talent Cities, it refers to organizations, companies, and etc. made for-Talented-by-Talented and hidden from the government.
Gladiator Rings: Mostly run by unTalented, these are underground fighting rings. Talented are often forced to participate in fighting matches for entertainment. While illegal, they are largely ignored by the FHTC.
