In 2018, I resolved to form one new habit a month! A third of them failed. Still, here's what I learnt in the last year – maybe it'll help you in the new year?
✏️ Habits I (Tried To) Make in 2018 [9 min read]
Above, you'll read how I stumbled to create habits like meditation, spaced repetition, voice training, quitting one embarrassing habit, and more. Hope it's useful/interesting!

Another thing I've been learning this month: Python + how to actually do statistics/data science! (I'm using Dataquest.io, which a friend of mine works on) It's funny how people think my stuff is data visualization, even though I've never visualized a data, let alone scienced a data. That'll change soon!

This will be relevant for my "randomized controlled experiment using an interactive" project, launching next month. Without spoiling too much, here's a GIF of a very, VERY rough work-in-progress:

But before next month (before the end of 2018), I want to share: 1. my annual list of "most meaningful books read this year", and 2. a few thoughts wrapping up 2018. I say it again and again to the point of it being cheesy, but I'm genuinely grateful you all are literally covering my rent and food, supporting me with feedback & encouragement, gifting me the creative autonomy to explore new hills to climb.
Thank you. <3
