Important billing update

Hey guys, how is everyone doing? 😊

This is more of an untypical kind of post, but since it involves some important updates regarding Patreon’s billing method—and more importantly, YOUR money—I wanted to address it here directly!

As some of you might already know, Patreon currently offers two types of billing methods:
- first-of-the-month method
- subscription method

I've been using the first-of-the-month billing method since I started this page, but as of November, Patreon will require creators to switch to the subscription method due to changes related to Apple’s in-app purchase system.

What does this mean for you?
Technically, this change will only affect new members. If you’re already subscribed, there will be no difference in how you’re billed.

You’ll find a more detailed explanation of how the subscription method works in the attachments below, and if you'd like an even more in-depth understanding, Patreon also has a helpful FAQ on this topic.

One key update I’m excited about with this switch:
If I understand correctly, I’ll be able to sell individual posts or collections. So if you’re only interested in a specific video, you can purchase just that one instead of subscribing for full-month access.
Patreon sets the minimum price at $3, but I’d really appreciate hearing your thoughts! How much would you be comfortable paying for a single post or video that you’re particularly interested in?
Feel free to share your opinion in the comments —I want to make sure this is fair and works for everyone! 😊

One more thing:
Since this change is coming early November, I’m considering making the switch to the subscription method as early as next month. Would you guys be on board with the early switch?

As always, if you have any questions or need further clarification, don’t hesitate to reach out. I’ll do my best to answer you!

Thanks for being here and for your continued support! Take care everyone 💛

Of course, making the switch early would make sense. As far as the price for a post etc. I feel $4 or $5 would be reasonable, but this is just my opinion.
