Weekly Progress: Kyne’s Hilt & Horizon — Greatsword Moveset #3

But right before I left, I blocked out a small chunk of the attack set. I’m sharing a short clip here.
What’s in the clip
This is an indoor-focused attack motion.
So far it includes: left diagonal cut → thrust.
My current plan is to extend it like this: vertical cut → reverse diagonal uppercut → back to thrust.
Design goal: stay compact in tight spaces
I’m keeping forward steps very modest across the combo.
Closing distance is important—but in narrow dungeons and interiors, big forward lunges often make your blade clip the wall behind the target and you get staggered. I want to avoid that.
My stance on big swords indoors
Honestly, swinging something montante-sized in tight rooms is not ideal.
I’m considering a split approach:
Open areas: a wide, lateral 1-vs-many combo (big arcs, crowd control).
Tight areas: recommend switching weapons instead of forcing big swings.
If I go that way, this indoor motion may be cut from the final set—or repurposed as a Power Attack.
