Some Thoughts on Art and Patreon Status

Didn't write a Blog entry for a long time, huh? Well, I hope I can change that in the future if you're interested in those.

Let's start this off with the big thing.

My Patreon Account has been suspended. (EDIT: I Got it back!) I know this isn't the right platform to reach people over there, but maybe some of you are following me here? I wanna elaborate on what exactly happened.

Apart from that being a big headache for me, it's not that bad. I just failed Age verification a lot of times because I upload Adult Content over there. How could I fail that you may ask?

I don't even know how to describe that without it sounding completely wrong. Basically speaking, I don't have an ID Card to Identify myself, because my country lets me wait for a year because they are too slow at processing those applications. Everything I have to Identify myself seems to not work with Patreon's Identification software so I need to wait until near the end of this month to finally be able to verify myself.

It really is a hassle, Christmas and New Years are coming, I got scammed by Internet providers and others and had to pay some stuff and I'm getting visitors. Seems like I've got to learn how to eat Air for a month.

But there are some good news too!

I've got a new Laptop a few weeks ago. My old one was so bad, that drawing softwares would crash repeatedly or load up to 10 minutes every 20 minutes because of temporary saves, making it impossible to really get into the mood of Drawing for the last 4-5 months or so.

Of course I've got to thank my supporters because quite honestly, I could get a really good one and Drawing hasn't been this fun for a long time. I'm planing to get a new Tablet soon because now that I have a good laptop, the Tablet looks really bad in comparison and has some bad issues, but my drawing speed has almost doubled so I hope I can finally post more regularly again.

So Thanks again, your support literally helped me getting to draw more.

So, what about Twitter?

(I still think it's weird to call it X)

I always think most of the people here are coming from pixiv, but I'm sure a bunch of you do know that I currently am doing a Twitter break to free myself from that nasty shadow ban I got for an entire year now.

Well, I plan to get back around the time when my Patreon gets restored. I'll be able to get a good amount of Artworks done in that time and hopefully can get more reach on there too that way. So if you're not following me there, it would be appreciated if you could do that in the future. (Or right now)

New Artworks?

You've seen a few Sneak peeks in the Thumbnail I guess?

I usually upload two times each week, which hasn't been true for the last few months. Sorry about that, my Laptop issues as well as the heat in the Summer really did me in.

But now I hope to be better than before. So I got a Question for you. I always end up not knowing what to do with semi-finished Artworks without extra clothing states or sometimes I finish something, but then adjust my upload schedule to upload a commission first I finished at the same time, having the other Artwork sitting around for a while?

Usually, I like to finish everything, small details and clothing states first before uploading it as a finished package, and most of the small things I end up doing only a day before I upload the Artwork.

I want to make a small change about that.

So, what would you think if I just upload these Artworks here as Extras for supporters anyway? As a early 1.0 Version of the Artwork without Clothing states and with some details maybe subject to change but in return you could be getting an early finished version of a Artwork up to a few weeks earlier than anyone else?

I'm sure this will not always be the case, but when I have some Artworks sitting there, waiting to be uploaded, I could just do that from now on.

And that's all for now. I do have some weird and frustrating stories to share if I get to it in the Future. I don't often get out, but when I do, something always happens.

長い間、ブログのエントリーを書いていなかったね。まあ、もし興味があるのなら、これから変えていければと思う。

まず、大事なことから始めよう。

僕のパトロンアカウントが停止された。(編集: 取り戻しました!) このサイトがパトロンにアプローチするのに適していないことは分かっている。何が起こったのか詳しく説明したい。

僕にとって大きな頭痛の種であることを除けば、それほど悪いことではないんだ。僕はアダルトコンテンツをアップロードしているから、年齢認証に何度も失敗しただけなんだ。どうして失敗したかって？

それをどう表現していいかわからないんだ。基本的に言えば、僕は身分証明書を持っていない。なぜなら、僕の国は申請書の処理に時間がかかりすぎるため、1年間も待たされるからだ。私が持っている身分証明書はすべて、Patreonの身分証明ソフトウェアでは使えないようなので、今月末近くまで待たなければなりません。

クリスマスやお正月も来るし、インターネットプロバイダーなどに詐欺に遭ってお金を払わなければならないし、来客もあるし、本当に面倒だ。一ヶ月間Airを食べる方法を学ばなければならないようだ。

でも、いいニュースもあるんだ！

数週間前に新しいノートパソコンを手に入れたのだ。以前使っていたノートパソコンはとても調子が悪く、ドローイングソフトが何度もクラッシュしたり、一時保存のために20分ごとに10分ずつロードされたりして、ここ4～5ヶ月ほどは本当にドローイングの気分に浸ることができなかった。

もちろん、サポーターには感謝しなければならない。なぜなら、正直なところ、本当にいいものを手に入れることができたし、ドローイングがこれほど楽しいものだったのは長い間なかったからだ。良いノートパソコンが手に入ったので、タブレットはそれに比べると本当に見栄えが悪いし、いくつか悪い問題もあるので、近いうちに新しいタブレットを買うつもりです。

だから、本当にありがとう。あなたのサポートは、文字通り、僕がもっと絵を描けるようになる手助けをしてくれた。

ツイッターはどうですか？

(Xと呼ぶのはまだ変だと思う）。

ここにいる人たちのほとんどはpixivから来てるんだといつも思ってるんだけど、僕が今Twitterを休んでいるのは知ってると思う。

まあ、パトロンが復活する頃に復帰する予定です。その間にかなりの量のアートワークを仕上げることができるだろうし、そうすればもっと多くの人に見てもらえるようになると思う。もしまだフォローしてくれていないなら、今後フォローしてくれるとありがたい。(もしくは今すぐ）

新しいアートワーク？

サムネイルで何度かスニークピークを見たことがあると思う。

いつもは毎週2回アップロードしているのですが、ここ数ヶ月はそうではありませんでした。ノートパソコンの不具合と夏の暑さにやられてしまって。

でも、これからは前よりもっと良くしたいと思っている。そこで質問がある。いつも半完成の作品をどうしたらいいのかわからなくなってしまうんだ。

通常、私は完成したパッケージとしてアップロードする前に、細かいディテールや服装の状態などすべてを先に仕上げたいと思っています。

それを少し変えたいんだ。

だから、このアートワークをサポーターのためのエクストラとしてここにアップロードしたらどう思う？1.0の初期バージョンとして、衣服の状態もなく、詳細は変更されるかもしれませんが、その代わり、他の誰よりも数週間早くアートワークの初期完成版を手に入れることができるかもしれません。

いつもそうだとは限らないだろうけど、アップロードを待っているアートワークがあるときは、これからはそうしていこうと思う。

というわけで、今回はここまで。もし将来、共有できるようになれば、奇妙で悔しい話がいくつかある。僕はあまり外に出ないんだけど、出るといつも何かが起こるんだ。
