Progress Update: Feeling like Atlas up in here

Hello, lovely squishy human meat people!

Sorry I missed this yesterday! There's been a ridiculous amount of stuff going on in the background/periphery of Tale Foundry and Chloe's currently on a week-long (maybe even a bit longer than that) break, so the whole show + community is resting on my shoulders again. I'm just doing my best to make sure I'm at least aware of everything I'm juggling, even if I fail here and there to actually do the dang juggling.

So much is happening right now, so much positive. The horizon is so bright before us, even though this has been a trying year (to say the least).

Let's turn our eyes toward the light, yeah?

Where are we now?

The Forging Worlds competition is officially over! We've selected a winner and begun concept work for the short story! There'll be more on this in tomorrow's sneak peek and in the think tank the day after. I'm so stoked to have the opportunity to participate in this collaborative, experimental process. It's such a privilege to be a part of a community brimming over with imagination.

It's so good to finally be back in the saddle, creating content (in some capacity) for the show that I love~

It gets even better, though.

You know that hand-written letter reward we've been teasing and putting off forever? You remember the billion times we said "soon, soon, we're so close now..."? Well, at long last we can stop biding our time. We've finally rounded up the materials we need, and Talebot is cranking out personal letters for all our engineers. 

And to put icing on the cake? We're in the final stage of production for the new bookmark. We just need to go through some minor tweaks and then send it off to print!

Once we have a piece of merchandise in our DFTBA store we can actually start sending out discount codes to all of your guys! And that, I believe, is going to feel very good to finally do for you.

What's next?

Story time! After the think tank I'm gonna buckle down again and just write for the first time in what feels like years.

I am... fairly trembling with excitement.

We've also got that special myyYYYyyystery video coming up as well, which I'm insanely excited about. 

Anything else?

Not for the moment! We're in some hard times, but we have you guys carrying us toward a really bright future. If we can just keep on keeping on, I think everything is going to get really, really good for us soon~
