Daily Update: I Might Miss Drawing

Look. Family is a wonderful thing. Blood, support, familiarity are all treasures in a person's life if they can get 'em. But ye gods is it difficult to maintain interest for sentimentality's sake. It's the 4th of July, and this post is saving me a lot of stilted conversation right now. I'll try to keep it brief, but Tehlu strike me dead if I'm not feeling a mighty compulsion to write a novel at several words a minute...
Then again, I did just stop mid-roll to write the think tank primer, and that was a bit of an endeavor. So I suppose I might actually keep this succinct after all.
All goes well with the outlining process. With some luck, I'll be done tonight. The goal is to have the entire script recorded by Saturday evening. so we can break into production all of next week. This'll be an interesting one, of course, because we have Felipe on board to help with the art. There'll be a lot of playing around with communication and templating to have the best experience possible, but Felipe is has so far been extremely easy for us to work with, so I'm not anticipating too much difficulty.
It's actually quite a difficult thing to let go of that part of the process. Despite the week it cost me in production, the time I spent putting those graphics together was meaningful to me. It made me feel close to the show and the work. I'm sure this doesn't mean I'll never draw a taleoid again, but the thought is a little bittersweet.
