Early video
Added 2023-11-24 17:00:11 +0000 UTCMy friends, this almost-movie is here! It was definitely the most difficult video to produce, but getting it done was extra satisfying. I feel like the occasional live entry filmed outside might be a nice touch if I can find a good filming location.
Fun fact: I traveled for about 45 minutes to the real water mill at the start of the video. My plan was to film a reasonably-long intro there, but it was so cold outside my camera's battery started dying although it was fully charged. So the only usable footage I managed to capture was the first 10 seconds :D I guess it's one of those lessons every filmmaker has to learn on his own. From now on, every time I'm filming somewhere outside, I'm bringing my Jackery outdoor battery along for the ride!

One little note on sculpting with epoxy putty. I've recently found that petroleum jelly (vasoline) is a great alternative to the tongue and thought you might like that better than having to taste epoxy buddy. Also, the dry brush wood texture is brilliant!!
