I'm feeling increasingly motivated as my current contract approaches its end. I've found my studio to be a bit of an intimidating space, recently. There's too much to do and not enough to show for it a lot of the time, but I'm excited to be getting to grips with some long-overdue tasks.
Two big ones are going to be finishing Zero Dark: Operation Kurgan and getting the beta edition of Horizon Wars: Midnight Dark ready for your consumption. And, of course, managing the Kickstarter to a hopefully-successful conclusion.
Thank you to everyone who sent their commiserations on the death of Wombat the dog. I still feel his absence keenly but it's impossible to deny that a dog is a big drain on time and money and his absence, however sad, actually makes organizing life noticeably easier. I won't be rushing to add a canine to my life again.
