I just started new work.
She's the last member of the squad that I've been working on. I'll add more to this faction later, but for now, I'm going to wrap up this concept with this member as the last.
Her rough story is that she was born in a war state and lost her arm when she was young, and she lost her legs and eyes when she was conscripted to war.
So the left side of her body is mostly damaged and she's going to have her prosthetic and prosthetic limbs attached.
It's still in the beginning of her work, so I haven't thought about her settings or her gears. As I work little by little, I'm going to make a gears that suits her.

The second news is that I finally succeeded in casting. Honestly, it's not a difficult task, but it was a field that required a lot of know-how. I got a lot of help from a lot of people, and finally I was able to produce cleanly without bubbles.
To be honest, both the printout and the cast resin product are similar in terms of price. On the contrary, large works may not have to be fully filled, so the printout may be cheaper to produce. However, I felt that this technology was essential even with the consideration of durability and overseas expansion, and I have come to the stage where I can commercialize this technology after spending about $1,500 over two months.
These days, I stay in the office for almost 12 to 14 hours without weekends from planning to design production. It's possible because I'm not married yet, and there's a reason to grow further, so I'll work harder and come back with good works and quality products.

Casting as a small studio sounds interesting. But I think it very well might be worth it. In my experience printed minis are much more brittle. I would be very nervous sending printed models to customers. Casted minis are much more stable and more suited for selling and shipping. I think it's a good move to invest in it.
