Discord to stop the srapping
Added 2023-08-02 15:39:57 +0000 UTCAs you know I discovered that all my feed here was scrapped until July 15th. At first, it seems to be finished, but it could always start again. I also have to be able to know the date when it started because, before it, there are my comments under the posts, and no more after this date.
Well, that said I saw other artists which are scrapped on their feed, but they don't share here their pictures. It's pretty clever: all is happening on Discord, rewards, and chat. Patreon become just a kind of facade.
Discord is free and there are precisely connections possible with Patreon. Some parts of the feed could still happen on Patreon, but good quality and fully finished artworks would be on the Discord server with more maybe chat possibilities.
Another option would be to make some kind of rewards pack via DM. I would upload files with a temporary link and you would have to download it.
I personally would go for the Discord server which seems more fun and less binding I guess. I still have to figure out how it works ^^', but seems to be a really nice option.

2023-08-03 22:25:35 +0000 UTCReally sorry to hear about the scrapping, very discouraging and I hate that that is the reality us artists face when sharing our art online (but what else can you do these days?). Personally, I use discord and it sounds like a fun way to interact with other fans and artists alike, but as others have said, it has its complications as it is not built for the same purpose as Patreon. Whatever you decide, I'll be sure to follow as I find the current fee here to be the least I can do to support an artist like you!
