Added 2025-09-04 20:07:26 +0000 UTCThought this Philips Videopac G7000 (known as the Magnavox Odyssey 2 in the US) with it's bent joystick port would be a good contender for a new video. Opened it up to check it out, to find it just needed a gentle push back onto the board. Wish they were all this easy, although part of me was hoping I could get the soldering iron out lol ... Anyway, have to ask does anyone remember these? and if so, what games do you recommend I check out :) (PS. let us know if you would like to see some behind the scenes gameplay footage from the G7000 here on Patreon).

Not this one, but I am back making new videos. Got 3 currently in the works, and hopefully if all goes to plan, the first vid should drop this weekend. :)

2025-10-06 21:21:15 +0000 UTCNot sure about the Oddysey 2 version, the Philips ones over here are quite easy, and relatively cheap (around £40) to pick up … plus game wise, just built myself a Picocart so currently enjoying playing the full catalogue without the expense of buying all the games. Well worth making or picking one of those up if you get the system :)
