Crisis adverted - I had to fix my SNES
Added 2025-06-15 21:00:06 +0000 UTCAs it looks like Street Fighter is going to win the poll, I thought I better dust off my SNES, only to find it no longer worked (always the way lol). So spent the afternoon fixing that one, and two others in my collection. Luckily it was an easy fix, just a dry joint on the power socket. My Japanese Famicom, only needed a clean. However the third one, the 1-chip version SNES with corrupt graphics is stumping me, so any help/pointers with that one appreciated?

Behind the game slot is the RGB chip, Iād start there. Maybe try swapping it from a donor/known working board š
