Life's a bit tough right now.
My car is broken and I wanted to fix it myself to save money, so it's even more broken now. Stuck in a town with no drinkable water in the tap, because there was a contamination or something. Heatwaves, big storms. Lots of weird stuff. Sometimes it feels like everything's breaking. Apocalypse soon.
But either way, since I'm stuck away from my rendering gear, I decided to dive into some coding again and dug up one of many concept projects. This time I actually have a neat idea of what to do with it!
"Deep Adventure" (working title) is a simple-ish, fast-paced exploration "mini RPG" designed to be played in short, exciting bursts. The goal of the game is to explore a mysterious dungeon that stretches deep underground, discover its secrets, loot its treasures... and come back to the surface, preferably in a body & mind resembling the one you've went inside with.
The deeper you go, the riskier your adventure becomes. If you're afraid of traps, monster ambushes, perverted curses or being eternally stuck somewhere deep underground - skip this game! ;)
Themes planed:
- random level generation each run
- simple yet tricky encounters with some pervy monsters
- "permadeath" (one run, one life, doesn't need to end in a death... there are "worse" ways to get stuck in the dungeon)
- magic / melee / swords and stuff
- traps & tricks of both mechanical and magical variety
- simple controls for one-handed gameplay (you wouldn't believe how tricky is that!)
- 2D gameplay with stylized 3D graphics
Thank you for your support, I hope it's going to be fun! Right now I'm assembling some assets (the black sphere represents the player, so no animations yet...), coding, coding, coding... Level generation is almost done, I like working on this idea at this moment, and there's not much else I can do right now.
Stay safe and horny!
