So this happened - VN PoC
Added 2021-10-22 10:28:43 +0000 UTCWhile I wasn't feeling so well and unable to work on the technical parts of Yaffaif the other month I started messing around with RenPy. Just wanted to see more of how it worked, and learn a bit of Python. I already knew some of it from my work on translating A Piece of Cake.
Is was just intended as a proof of concept for myself, not for release, but the characters kind of got away from me so I thought you might want to try it out. It's a game where you play as a human female, and explores relationships, weight gain, and societal pressures.
There's no artwork, it's unfinished in the sense that it needs more characters and events. However the basic structure is there. Not sure if it will see any updates, though I'd like to do some art for it. It's definitely a back-burner project.

Like Yaffaif there's a built-in debug menu, which you can choose to activate at the start of the game. Running with it turned on will show some of the internal workings, and allow you to cheat.
