2025 was a huge year for the studio, and we are so incredibly lucky to have had all of you there with us to experience it. We released TEN new animated shorts, four major updates to Goo Engine, three ready-to-use rigs for Blender, announced production on our original series “Soul Mart”, and somehow still have a few surprises up our sleeves! Wow!!

The Future of Assets
Last year, we promised you guys a full year of assets. Not only have we SMASHED past a year of incredible props, backgrounds, and custom shaders, we’re going to keep them coming for as long as we can! That means that we need to clear space on the Patreon in order to make room for the new assets.
Starting February 1st, the asset packs from December 2024 to November 2025 will be relocated to our Gumroad and Superhive stores.
After this month, these older asset packs will be bundled and sold separately from the Patreon membership so that we can continue to release new ones here exclusively for you guys. This is your last chance to download them as part of your Apprentice Goo tier support perks, so get them while they’re still here!
Now, onto the main update:
January’s Asset Pack is the Sibling Rivalry Pack! This pack contains two custom assets from our Yin & Yang rig promo animation - the Dojo and the Boba Cup! Head over here to read all about them.
Our Crew Animator Stream this month will feature one of the studio’s lead animators, Ramen! He’ll be animating some lip sync practice for you all on Thursday, January 15th at 8PM CST. This stream won’t be recorded for release, so make sure you’re linked to the Discord in time for this exclusive stream!
We have an extra-special Animation Demo Reel Review for this month’s Professor Animation Review Stream! This is a HUGELY valuable opportunity to have your work reviewed by professional, working animators! Apprentice Goos can read the guidelines here, and submit your demo reels by January 27th. Professor Goo will be reviewing a few of the submissions live on Thursday, January 29th at 8PM CT!
