I'm glad you're enjoying Magic! I agree that the financial investment is immense (part of the reason I don't play competitively anymore), but Magic Duels is a great way to play without the cost. Such a fun and well-made game. A Mr. Dyslexic Heart Bear emoji was one of the first ones to be created, actually! Lots of users requested it, so we added it. Also glad you appreciate the framing! It's such a small detail that can have a huge effect. I hope viewers can use that as a gateway to become more interested in the various things that go into filmmaking—there's a lot of cool camera rules that are present in every movie you've ever seen!

I’ve only played it once with a friend’s deck (I can’t justify the financial investment it would take to get my own deck), but I love Magic from a systems perspective so it’s a lot of fun to watch. I really hope that the AI in the newer DLC packs is tougher than in the first DLC, which I remember being extremely easy when you covered it. It seems like they just want to wow players with all the shiny powerful new cards (which is still very entertaining). Regarding the ExtraLife stream, I’d suggest only doing GB and GBC games. Since most people are more familiar with the GBA library, it’s likely that most of the games picked would be for the GBA, which would be a shame because the older GBs have some fantastic games. I’m not in the Discord chat (I wish I was – it sounds like a lot of fun!!), but it might be fun to make some sort of Mr. Dyslexic Heart Bear emoji. Also, I noticed a week or so ago how much I like the framing in your “couch vlogs” – shooting in thirds makes such a difference over just being centre frame!
