Get the project files for my video about the Napoleonic Era Naval Scene.
Includes the HMS Victory, the ocean vector displacement sequence, the VDB cannon sequence and the overall blender scene.
The file is around 18GB big, due to the image sequences.

Well, I think the whole ship was linked, wasn’t it? Like all the sails too. Since I wanted to have multiple ships, I did not want to do the simulations multiple times as well. So I linked the whole ship. Of course, if you look closely, you can see it repeat, but it’s not as obvious as one would think. So in short, I did it to save time.

2025-03-15 14:59:33 +0000 UTCHey MLT i was studying your project file to learn from it, i noticed you have some flag simulations in the project file that were linked or apended from the original file, is there a benefit to linking or apending the simulation compared to doing it in the project file?

2025-03-15 14:37:11 +0000 UTCIch nehme mal an, dass Premiere auch LUTs verwenden kann, oder? Zwar hat davinci ja welche vorinstalliert, aber man kann sich ja auch einfach andere Runterladen und ausprobieren. Für eine lange Zeit sahen LUTs für mich einfach doof aus, bis ich verstanden habe, dass das Bild vorher oftmals in LOG sein muss. Generell das ganze Thema rund um Color Space hat sehr geholfen, dass das color grading besser wird. Bin da gerade noch viel am lernen.

Finde ich Klasse, dass man mit den Da Vinci Resolve Luts so ein tolles Ergebnis bekommt! Muss ich definitiv mal ausprobieren - bin der totale Premiere Pro User und bin dort sehr auf Custom Colour Grading angewiesen. Auf jeden Fall danke für die coolen Tutorials, da hast du auf jeden Fall eine Nische abgedeckt auf YouTube!!! Und falls du etwas über Grading wissen magst, frag mich gerne. 🙂 Schönen Abend Tim
