Blocking the stone cistern
Added 2020-03-06 09:43:50 +0000 UTCI have been doing the basic size blocking - to make sure it's not too small or large- and a very rough texture sketch for the cistern. I wanted it to fit on the base tile from the obelisk but it could go in a dungeon, a cave or maybe a clearing in a forest. It should also provide options for cover, LOS or jumping up on for elevated position!
I want to add an iron wrought part where you could hang your bucket. This is a very rough place holder. Wait for the textured version :-) I will make it two parts so you can have a crossed iron version. I have seen that a lot in research, also options where some parts are closed with some sort of iron gridwork pattern.
The iron could have different style ornaments. I will look into a more floral and a spike look to represent different cultures.
For the easy closed version you would have a lid and for the advanced version I want to have an open option.
If it's not water but some special well with - for example - magical mana I can imagine hinting at that with some glowing texture options for the closed version. I'll leave it to kit-bashers to make some fancy lighting with the open version :-)
After seeing how much the ground tile was appreciated, do you want more ground tiles? I am thinking of adding a $2 tier and make a new ground tile every month ... Let me know what you think.
