Speededit - simple background

Hi lovelies!

Today I wanted to provide you a rather short speededit of a very simple background I have made.

All in all I spent 12 minutes putting this together, so obviously it's a simple one, but wanted to share with you guys regardless.

Here's the background all finished!

Explained:

- I start off with removing the shadows from the horse with the clone tool. Then I remove the sso sky and put in more trees in the back.

- Skip forward and I add a new sky. I have simply used one from google.

- I continue adding props such as fence and grass. Adding props is many times the key to a beautiful background. That's something to think about for those of you who feel you struggle with them.

- Moving along to some rim lights. I pick a bight orange color from the sky and go around the edges with a soft round brush, using a clipping mask (I think it's called layer lock in procreate?) and with an overlay layer mode. Play around with the layer modes in your program to see what you prefer.

- I then blur the layers separately, to create depth. The further away = more blur. Here I use something called tilt shift.

- I finish it all with adding an premade preset/filter, this is a very neat tool to have if you want to be consistent with the color schemes in your feed. Lately I have experimented a lot with how I want my feed to look so it has been a mess, but I think I have found something I like now.

- After I stopped recording I also added sun rays as I forgot before quitting

Also here's how the edit turned out in the end!

Hope you enjoyed!
