Development Log : Week of March 23 - March 29

Since I don't want to be continuously spamming everyone's emails every day with my progress report, I'll be editing this pinned post throughout the week instead.

Current Stretch Goals

• $300 per month to unlock spicy side stories  (Achieved!)

• $600 per month for extended character Question & Answer sessions  (Achieved!)

• $1000 per month to unlock a second drabble each month (Currently: $1200/$1000)

Browser Compatibility:

• Works: Chrome, Opera, Safari (Mobile), Brave (Desktop)

• Doesn't Work: Firefox + derivatives (whyyyy), Midori

• Also, apparently the sound files aren't working properly on iOS. 💀

March 23

• Drabble finished + edited + uploaded. Along with all its new attached images.

• ~250+ words written/coded of game.

• The fae folklore hub has been created. Not too much time to work on the game today since I spent several hours fighting with Wordpress to get it to show custom fonts for all the animals in Percy's drabble. So, at least I finally have that set up if I need custom fonts for something else on the site.

• Since this is the day that the progress report is uploaded, the winning drabble has been scheduled to post tomorrow instead.

March 24

• ~1375 words of this month's winning drabble written

• ~1250 words written/coded of game.

• Halfway through the fae folklore hub.

March 25

• Second place drabble finished + edited + uploaded.

• ~1200 words written/coded of game.

• Fae folklore done. The internet hub is fully written, so that means it's time to go back into editing mode before the next update.

March 26

• ~1100 words of this month's Q & A session written.

• Checked/Edited/Polished ~70 Lines of Code. (~350 words)

• Bugtested all the new variables and the formatting of the new sections of the hub.

• Preliminary Quick Test passed. Oh boy, that took awhile. So many bugs in this section.

March 27

• ~1000+ words of this month's Q & A session written.

• Checked/Edited/Polished ~230+ Lines of Code. (~1300 words)

• Making my way through the true incubi feeding habits confrontation

March 28

• ~400 words of this month's Q & A session written + edited + posted

• Checked/Edited/Polished ~300+ Lines of Code. (~2200 words)

• Nearly done with the truth about incubi feeding section.

• Fighting with the Wordpress utf8 collation database to get special characters like 𝓙𝓾𝓼𝓽 𝓹𝓮𝓪𝓬𝓱𝔂 published on the site

March 29

• Checked/Edited/Polished ~380 Lines of Code (Currently at line 26961 out of 29280, Approx. ~2200 words)

• Incubi feeding section done. Partway through the First Circle investigation hub.

• Checked through all the new variations triggered by the internet research in other parts of the hub. Finally reached the Internet Research itself hub for editing.
