Development Log : Week of January 19 - January 25

Since I don't want to be continuously spamming everyone's emails every day with my progress report, I'll be editing this pinned post throughout the week instead.

Current Stretch Goals

• $300 per month to unlock spicy side stories  (Achieved!)

• $600 per month for extended character Question & Answer sessions  (Achieved!)

• $1000 per month to unlock a second drabble each month (Currently: $1200/$1000)

Browser Compatibility:

• Works: Chrome, Opera, Safari (Mobile), Brave (Desktop)

• Doesn't Work: Firefox + derivatives (whyyyy), Midori

• Also, apparently the sound files aren't working properly on iOS. 💀

January 19

• ~500+ words written/coded of game.

• Checked/Edited/Polished ~300 Lines of Code. (Currently at line 18901 out of 19337, Approx. ~2000 words)

• Physical training with Adrian done + partway through mental training with him.

• Created text effects + previews.

January 20

• ~500+ words written/coded of game.

• Checked/Edited/Polished ~200+ Lines of Code. (Currently at line 19107 out of 19452, Approx. ~1400+ words)

• Mental training with Adrian done, halfway through charm training with Percy.

January 21

• Checked/Edited/Polished ~200+ Lines of Code. (Currently at line 19312 out of 19471, Approx. ~1600+ words)

• Percy charm training + solo physical training done.

• Created text effects + preview

January 22

• Wrote ~1300 words of this month's winning drabble.

• Checked/Edited/Polished ~150 Lines of Code. (Currently at line 19419 out of 19496, Approx. ~800 words)

• Solo mind training done. That just leaves solo mind + the conclusion text to finish off this section.

• Created text effects. All the text effects for the training!

January 23

• Finished/Edited/Posted this month's winning drabble

• Checked/Edited/Polished ~100 Lines of Code. (Finished at line 19496, Approx. ~800 words)

• Training section done. Preliminary QuickTest passed.

• Created text effects.

January 24

• Unfortunately, the secondary Wordpress site for the game was hacked early this morning so I ended up spending all my time beefing up security on the site instead of working on the game

January 25

• Wrote ~1000 words of this month's winning drabble + images

• Worked on Lorelei dialect guide for... reasons

• Still spent most of my time migrating the site to somewhere more secure. Hopefully that's done now.
