Development Log : Week of December 29 - January 4
Added 2024-12-29 23:03:59 +0000 UTCSince I don't want to be continuously spamming everyone's emails every day with my progress report, I'll be editing this pinned post throughout the week instead.
Current Stretch Goals

$600 per month for extended character Question & Answer sessions (Achieved!)
$1000 per month to unlock a second drabble each month (Currently: $1200/$1000)
Browser Compatibility:
Works: Chrome, Opera, Safari (Mobile), Brave (Desktop)
Doesn't Work: Firefox + derivatives (whyyyy), Midori
Also, apparently the sound files aren't working properly on iOS. 💀
December 29
~100+ words written/coded of game.
That finishes off Percy's part of the Free Time Hub, so it's time to switch back into editing/bug-testing mode before the next Alpha Update.
Most of today was spent making Percy's Folk Songs for Newbies playlist that gets linked in the game in a certain branch. Not researching and collating the songs, no, just trying to get them uploaded to a playlist.
Spotify - Won't play more than 10 seconds of a song (is apparently a known glitch for years) -> Next
Soundcloud - kept in a loop of "that e-mail address doesn't exist, please sign up"/"that e-mail address already exists, please log in" (also a known bug for years) -> Next
Apple Music/iTunes - the playlist function disappeared from my account (also a known bug, but a rarer one than the two above. Apparently these music sites just hate me) -> Next.
Bandcamp - playlists only available in their app, yeah no -> Next
Pandora - playlists only available for premium members -> Next
Amazon Music - playlist wouldn't be available to the general non-Amazon subscribed public -> Next
Youtube Music - All right we're back to YouTube, and now Percy has his own channel.
Someone better end up listening to this playlist at some point (屮゚Д゚)屮
