Turning the Page [v0.27.0] Available and [v0.26.0] Public Release

Hey everyone!

It’s a few days later than we were planning, but it’s time for the latest chapter of Turning the Page, v0.27.0.

This is a big one.

As you may have inferred from the slight delay, this update is longer than the ones we’ve been releasing lately. It also has content from both the Felix and Sophie POVs, so if you’ve been keeping up with the Felix story, we heavily suggest you read his first.

Apart from that, we have a bit of an announcement to make with regards to our update release schedule. Over the last few months, we’ve been experimenting with releasing our monthly updates in two segments for several reasons. Chief amongst them were to help our internal development schedule and to change how the story was presented to the audience. In particular putting out the Felix POV of some scenes ahead of the Sophie POV to allow speculation and excitement to build.

In the end though, even though some players liked that change, it was a bit more divisive than we wanted. Specifically, some players who weren’t interested in reading the Felix POV felt like they had updates they cared about less.

In addition, although it did improve some things internally, having the obligation to put out two releases a month caused its own sort of stress. In particular, the short turnaround really didn’t leave us much flexibility with regards to how we ended each update, causing us to end some of them somewhat abruptly.

So, starting with this release, we are going to be shifting back into the older style updates, but not entirely. That original method of having one large update with a fixed size has caused us production issues in the past, so going forward we will be a bit more flexible. Rather than have every update be the exact same size, mostly in terms of CGs, we will adjust the size based on what is the most satisfying and natural way for us to tell the story.

As such, we aren’t going to be releasing updates on the same fixed day, but rather every three or four weeks, depending on the size of the update and what demands it places on our team.

Of course, you can obviously expect at least one update per month is guaranteed. Ultimately, our priority is to create exciting and satisfying NTR content and we hope that this is just another step in our quest to do that as best we can.
