2025-02-24 02:12:02 +0000 UTCI have a bunch of 1M3/DM70 indicator tubes. The subminiature one used in battery powered radios that looks like an exclamation point. It's a small and relatively cheap tuning indicator with flying leads so it's easy to prototype with as you can use a breadboard without sockets and you can get them to work with a 90v supply.

2022-10-14 21:48:36 +0000 UTCThe cap tester has been super useful in my shop. I fix a lot of old stereo gear, TVs and speakers. Checking the caps on crossovers and power boards is one of my main trouble shooting steps.
