Here it is! You can breadboard this and try it out. This device has many other uses as well, which I will show you when the project is complete. I'm in the process (right now) of designing 3 circuit board variations (maybe 4) of this tester which will be released here on Patreon just as soon as their done. This will include an instructional video(s) on assembly as well. One of these boards will be for a "Currently Available Device," just in case you can't find or purchase the LM3915.....P.S. Long pen and paper shot at the beginning of the video :^) Listen through it though!

Please Note: If you leave an excessively leaky capacitor attached for a very long period of time, the leakage tester may count down very slowly, and even indicate as OK. This extended period as displayed in the video can also be considered excessive leakage. This is where common sense come's in. If it takes a minute to count down on a .1uF capacitor, it's obviously bad. If  you're in doubt about the charge time of the capacitor in question, compare it to a new capacitor. A time chart will be created "over time" as a reference as to how long you should be waiting for the DUT to be verified.

Would like to build one of these parts list OR kit if avail and pcb.. tnx

I would also like to get the parts list, PC board layout and schematics for Capacitor leakage tester.

Very nice ,works well. I've build the simple version with the 2 transistors on one of those universal pcb board with seperate throughhole islands. Had no 22M resistors, so I used 'lots' of 10M smd resistors ,but no problems.

Great Work Thank you very much
